Hope

She was Lekha, a graduate student. She wishes to be financially independent as soon as possible. The main reason was the daily news headlines that tell the suffering of many girls after marriage. This ranged from dowry to murders in the name of superstitions. She heard many saying "Her life won't turn out to be tragic if she had a job" after watching the news. According to her marriage was a bondage to slavery. It acted as an institution that lacked freedom and the right to prefer. Husband was a man who controls and decides whether our ambitions have to be satisfied or not. Due to all, this she preferred marriage only after getting a job. But for her, she was not having enough courage to tell her parents this. The only way for her was to pray that no man who come to see her may like her or continue the proposal. As days passed, she turned sad and depressed. But being an optimist, she hoped that she would become financially independent passed, order to gain the confidence. She started to hear motivational and inspirational videos. This was the only way for her to turn to be happy and relaxed. Soon that day reached, and she became a Central Government Employee. She was happy and attained a spirit of unpredictable happiness. After three months she gets an alliance. Though she had never met him earlier she accepted the proposal according to her parent's wish. She was not at all stressed-about marriage and was ready to accept anything. Her confidence was indeed her job. But to her surprise, her husband was a good man who loved her and always accept her individuality. Within one month of her marriage, he turned out to be her best friend. This might be what we call Two birds in a single shot. Her life moved much beyond her hope. Let's hope that may all of us be blessed with a job as well as a good partner.
