Just Love

THE CONCLUSION

"Vikram" they both exclaimed at each other.

"I just know that he loved Natasha and since Natasha was in love with Dev and he could not see her sad, he thought of teaching him a lesson. So he had kept his mobile on, so I could hear the conversation.

Poor thing, little he know or even I know that Raghu would do such a thing of mixing sedatives in their drinks. But actually its a boon for us" she laughed looking at Malhotra.

"Hmmmmm meri beta ka deewana ashiq" Malhotra too laughed and went and hugged Mrs. Raichand.

Dev was shattered. First, it was Anish, then Shivani and now Vikram.

He was wondering to himself where did he go wrong as a friend, as a lover.

Shivani could feel that pain he was going through. She could very well relate to that pain....the pain of losing someone you loved dearly.

"Thanks for sharing your deeds with your own mouth, Mrs. Raichand" Shivani laughed at her.

"What do you mean girl" they both looked at her suspiciously.

"The police let go of your husband because of lack of proofs against him. My sister who was our angel, was pushed into the dark world of selling of her soul by none other than Raichand and this...this man you are standing with also tarnished her existence.

She drove to commit suicide following what these animals did to her but the police did not do anything. They put all the blame on my sister. My father died because he was unable to bear the humiliation and the umpteen questions people were asking him. Do you realize that how because of your cruel and selfish demands, one happy family is destroyed" she shouted at them.

"Look lady am not here to listen to your bakwaas. Just tell me what have you done" she moved towards her angrily

"No don't dare to come near me" she told moving backwards.

"Malhotra I guess she has recorded our conversation. Go get it from her" she instructed.

He literally pounced on her but she managed to dodge him and got hold of a flower vase kept nearby and she hit him....hit him hard.

Blood started pouring from his head.

"You girl...what have you done" Mrs. Raichand shrieked in horror.

Dev too had got into senses listening to her heart-wrenching tale.

"Betu...betu" he ran towards her.

Shivani was standing there without any movement, with that vase in her hand.

"Dev just call the police" she instructed him.

"But you too would come under this crime" he told looking at her as tears welled up in his eyes.

"I don't care about myself Dev. I just want justice for my sister" she looked him in his eyes.

As dev dialed the police's number, Mrs. Raichand just held her head and sat down.

She could not believe that her master plan had failed.

As the police reached the bungalow of the Raichands, they looked around in horror.

Raghu kaka, Vikram, Anish, Tina, Natasha and Mr. Raichand were unconscious with the effect of those sleeping pills.

Malhotra was lying in a pool of blood with the vase being hit.

Dev and Shivani were huddled together in a corner while Mrs. Raichand was sitting in another corner holding her head.

"Did you call us" the police inspector went and asked Dev.

"Yes Sir" he nodded his head.

"Can you tell what happened here" he asked.

Quietly Shivani passed on the entire video recording on her phone to him.

The police arrested Mrs. Raichand and Shivani too.

As the police were taking them both, Dev just looked into her eyes and asked.

"Did you ever love me betu".

She just looked at him intently but did not answer him.

Raghu kaka recovered at the hospital and gave his testimony against the crime that Raichand had committed which led Lavanya to commit suicide.

Mr Raichand was shocked and depressed with the act of Malhotra and his wife Madhu. He had never dreamt that his close people were making him a fool.

Anish was at loss of words and cursed himself for having born to the Raichands.

Nutty was in shock that her father had committed such a crime. She had goosebumps listening to what Lavanya had undergone.

Tina was unhappy coz two of her best friends, Nutty and Vikram were unhappy.

Vikram could not forgive himself that he had gone to such lengths to satiate his jealousy.

Finally Dev and Shivani, they were figuring out the status of their relationship. Shivani was left by the police after verifying the video recording.

Shivani was happy that at last Lavanya had got justice. So was her mother who was proud of her daughter.

The Raichands and Malhotra were behind bars owing to their crime.

Dev went to Shivani's house.

As he rang the bell, her mother opened the door.

"Aunty I want to meet Shivani" he told.

He had given his final exmas and was going abroad for his further studies. Shivani too was free after giving her final exams.

As he entered her room, he saw that she was dusting her study table.

She looked cute in her pink shorts and polka dotted t-shirt. He was reminded of the first time that he had come to her house to meet her.

"Betu" he called out.

Shivani was startled listening to his voice

"Have I gone so far from you that now get startled hearing my voice" his heart ached as he told this.

She just lowered her gaze and kept quiet.

"It has been two months betu. Everything is over. Just let go. I want to be with you...be with you forever" tears rolled down his cheeks as he said those words.

Her hear ached too seeing him so sad. She felt guilty for being the reason for his sadness.

Going near her he asked.

"Did you ever love me betu" looking directly into her eyes.

Shivani could not meet his eyes.

"Hey...just tell me...its important for me to know...that did you ever love me" he asked intently.

This time Shivani looked at him, tears rolling down her cheeks.

"I did and I do and I will always do" she cried her heart out.

Dev just pulled her in a bear hug.

"I love you too betu. What has happened has happened. Let's bury our past behind us and look forward to our future" he told her.

Shivani felt so blessed to be with him.

"I thought I lost you" she said hugging him tightly.

"No betu. I am only yours...the bad is already over only the good awaits us now" he told smiling and hugging her hard.

Shivani's mom had tears of happiness in her eyes. She was happy that both her daughters were at peace now.

As they both left each other's embrace and looked intently at each other, Dev erased the difference between them by giving her a passionate kiss on her lips. 

She too responded with equal passion and looked ahead towards a great future.

Two years later, once Shivani completed her graduation, both of them married.

Raghu kaka was there to give them their blessings.

Their friends, Anish, vikram, Natasha and Tina too were there to wish their friends well.

Dev and Shivani were finally one and it was just love which bound their hearts together forever.
