Just Love

"What happened Mr. G Sec" Shivani asked teasing Dev.

"Nothing" he replied without looking at her.

"Tell me what is it" she asked holding his hands.

"Yaar that Nutty" he told and stopped.

"She is in love with you" she asked looking him in the eyes.

"How do you know" he was surprised.

"You are so good that it is difficult not to fall in love with you" she replied smiling.

"You not feeling jealous" he asked teasing.

"Well I do but I also know that she is your friend. As a girl, I can relate to her feelings. She might not want to lose a friend" she replied smiling.

"This is what I love the most about you. You are always so concerned about others" and he hugged her.

Shivani struggled to free herself and told.

"Mr. G Sec we are still in college. Let's go for dinner".

They both held each other's hand and went towards the buffet.

"Leave my hand now" she told.

"No. I want everyone to know that you are mine" he smiled at her.

Her classmates were shocked to see them walk hand in hand.

Everyone was speaking in whispers.

Finally, it was the turn for the G sec's speech

"Thank you dear fatchas (fresher+bacha=fatcha...DU lingo for freshers) for this awesome farewell. Do well and miss us too. One more thing, do you all see that girl there" he said pointing towards Shivani

"She is mine. Don't dare trouble her. I love you Shivani" and everyone just cheered.

Shivani just blushed at the way he proposed in front of everyone.

"Shivani you need to respond too" cheered her classmates

"No I won't," she said shyly

Her classmates literally pushed her on stage.

They both just looked at each other.

Dev smiled at her and coaxed her to say.

She shook her head in denial.

"Sing and tell him" her best friend cheered

After much coaxing, she sang this song

"Kyun aata hai seene mei

jab jab saansein bharti hoon

tere dil ke galiyon se

main har roz guzarti hoon

hawa ke jaise chalta hai tu

Everyone was just mesmerized with her song and Dev just went and hugged her lovingly.

Tina, Natasha, Vikram and Anish stood there each feeling bad for their own reasons.
