Once upon a time, there lived a boy named Krishna. He was very poor. He used to wear torn clothes, shoes which weren’t mended and watches which weren’t showing the correct time, he used to go to a local school which was in bad shape.

One day, when Krishna was coming home from school on the bus, he saw a man selling lottery tickets. He lied to the bus driver that he saw his mother at the grocery store and got out of the bus without buying a ticket. Using bus ticket money, he bought a lottery ticket and walked his way back home.

At night, he went for a gathering, where he got pickpocketed and lost the lottery ticket.

He realised since he had lied to the bus driver, in the end, he did not gain anything.

Moral: Lying may help in the short term but in the long run, it will cause you losses.
