Lilly's Dog

Little Lilly was devastated when her beloved pet dog, Pluto, passed away.

She was grieving so deeply because she missed him so much that she skipped dinner and went to bed without eating.

But at midnight, something really unexpected transpired, and Lilly awoke as a result of a loud odd sound.

She was startled as soon as she heard Pluto barking from the wardrobe.

She stepped cautiously toward the wardrobe.

The barking has now stopped.

Lilly fumbled with her small hands as she flung open the cupboard.

Pluto had once more began to bark.

Then she heard a strange voice say, "Don't be terrified Lilly, it's me, your friend Pluto," shortly after that. "Please just enter the closet; we'll have a great time together," the voice promised. When Lilly heard this, she was horrified and inquired, "Are you the ghost of Pluto and how can you speak?" with a shaking voice. The voice responded, "I truly don't know what I am; just believe me and go inside the wardrobe and close it from the inside, then you may see me. Lilly somehow had the courage to enter the wardrobe. As soon as she shut the doors, she was in a totally new environment where everything was breathtakingly beautiful and was painted in hues she had never seen before. Is this heaven? exclaimed Lilly. A small boy standing behind her answered, "Maybe, but we call it the good world."

Who are you right now?Lilly enquired.

My lovely Lilly, I am Pluto, the lad answered. "How are you my Pluto? She questioned if he was a dog. The child responded with a divine grin on his face, "No, it's truly me; I'm a boy right now so that I can talk to you because you know dogs simply bark, they can't talk. But Lilly wasn't yet persuaded. I won't believe that, if you are Pluto, then tell me what his favourite plaything was, she exclaimed. Pluto retorted, "My favourite is toilet paper."

God, oh God! My Pluto, it's really you," Lilly shouted with joy.

Pluto retorted, "Now that you know, let me take you to a unique area. Come with me."

Lilly began to pursue him.but soon came to an end. Lilly remarked, "I know it's you my Pluto, but I'm missing my real Pluto, my dog. Pluto said, "Oh, so I need to change back into a dog again, well, but cover your eyes because I'm feeling a little shy doing it."

After a short period, Lilly inquired, "Can I see you now that my eyes are closed? Pluto responded with "No, wait, it's happening," but this time his voice sounded more like a strange dog's.

Lilly was unable to keep from seeing and said, "I can't wait for more, may I open my eyes now?"

When Lilly heard her mother's voice saying, "Lill baby got up, you are late for school," she immediately opened her eyes but discovered herself on her bed.

Was that it a dream?" she questioned.

Lilly stood up, entered the closet, and tried to close it again, but nothing occurred. Lilly sighed to herself, closing the closet as she left the room, "So it was all a wonderful dream."

However, the wardrobe soon opened by itself, and a toilet paper roll with the phrase "Tonight" fell out.i

Lilly grinned.
