Lockdown Family Life

Really this lockdown changed everyone's life. It never happened before. Covid 19 is a dangerous virus. Because of that virus govt declared lockdown. In this pandemic situation, each and everyone thought to come back to native home. Because "home sweet home, there is no place like home". 

Accordingly, the school is going online. The office is going online. Online shopping for groceries and vegetables. Everything is through online. Only one motto that "stay home stay safe". Unknowingly the nuclear family became the big joint family. The old parents became very happy by seeing their kids together after a long time. 

We never imagined that we would have to be stuck inside for so long. However, this time has also given us the opportunity to rekindle the relationship we lost with our family. The lockdown has given us a chance to go back to the days when the family time was the most important time of the day. 

Sitting together to eat as a family was one of the most important things that we stopped doing. However, with the lockdown and all the family members at home, the tradition of eating together is back. Families are coming together to keep the house clean without any maids. With the house helps not there to help, everyone at home is doing chores from sweeping to washing clothes which makes them a perfect way to bond as well. The more time you spend with your family, you end up understanding them better. You might still be arguing with your family, however, the lockdown has given you more time to accept them and the things they believe in. Family units have become closer than ever during this tough time.

It becomes impossible to stay in touch with everyone we know in our normal lives. However, with the lockdown and with everyone having lots of time on their hands, it has become common to talk to our school friends and people we forgot along the way.

After some days the situation will be normal. All will go back to their working place. But this lockdown family life will be remembered forever. So try to live happily with each other. Forget the past, move forward and enjoy each and every movement of life.
