Maaya was a fun-loving and bubbly girl from her childhood. She was the most responsible among the three siblings in her family. Though having all these positive traits she would always be made fun of because of her dark shade and was hated by her brothers because of the frankness and truthfulness she had. At the age of 7, she was on the way to school with her brothers when one of them challenged her for a race towards the school ahead of them. Not noticing that there was a huge school bus behind them, both Maaya and her elder brother started running towards the school. Little Maaya was already exhausted but did not give up, but that was the most tragic day in her life.

A terrible bus accident where Maaya was under the wheels of that huge bus in a fraction of seconds. Lying down in a pool of blood little Maaya was unconscious. A group of people rushed her to the hospital and called up her parents. By Gods, grace and prayers of many little Maaya survived the incident and were brought back to normal life. But, the tragic events that followed in her life were many. Her father was a central government employee and mother a head nurse. Both her brothers were notorious and did not contribute towards the family in any way. Her father would drink and return every evening and seeing her parent's quarrel had become a daily routine for Maaya.

In all those circumstances Maaya never lost her will and her courage in life. She went forward with all that she had. She was a girl who was satisfied with whatever she had. She never asked her parents for anything more than what they could provide her. When she had completed her 10th grade her father asked her to stop her studies as it was difficult for him to educate all the three kids at the same time. Maaya loved her books, her education, and her learning. It was a very tough phase for Maaya but she never gave up. She started working in a firm as a typist and with the money, she would get she started continuing her education privately.

After her intermediate, she fell in love with a Military man. A handsome man who loved her more than anything else in this world. She got married to him and started her new life with him. She still had that passion for studies and wished she could pursue her education but then she had her first baby and now her time got dedicated towards her baby boy. After 2 years she had her second baby girl which again required her time towards the baby but she never forgot her passion. She worked in many other offices and did all kinds of odd jobs to take care of her family. After almost 20 years when her kids where doing their graduation she decided to relive her passion and pursue her education.

At the age of 50, she pursued her graduation and completed it successfully. Maaya was always a girl with a passion for learning. Now as a successful mother, a loving wife, and a passionate learner she still aims towards going forward in life with her passions no matter what may come against her she will move forward. Neither her dark shade could stop her nor her circumstances, Maaya lived the way she wanted and achieved far beyond what she wanted.
