Messi, My Idol

Whenever I hear a word like “Super hero”, “Idol”, “Perfect” in my life, only one name comes in my mind. He looks like all of us, he plays football like no one else, he is the proud of football club Barcelona and Argentina and that’s one and only Lionel Messi.

 Till 2012, I used to follow cricket a lot but then one day when I saw a video that was related to some skills of Messi and then I started watching his videos and games. I started reading about him and slowly I become a fan of him and that time I was just a fan like others. In the 2014 world cup, I still remember I watched each and every game till 4 am. His hard work, skills everything took Argentina into Final, unfortunately, he lost the final but he won our heart. Since then I never missed a single match of him. I started following him like everything. He became God for me.

The way he always tries to improve his game in every match and his humble behavior is just outstanding. He never thinks about his records and always concentrate on his game. I still remember how he took Argentina into 3 finals in 3 years but unfortunately couldn't convert into trophies. Many people started judging me that you are insane and all but I feel really proud that I am a fan of MESSI. Then I started my collection of pictures, the jersey of Messi. I really wish that one day I meet him in real this is my dream to see him playing.

During cricket days, I got a chance to see Sachin batting in the stadium in the same way I really hope that I'll watch Messi. No matter what I will stand for him forever. In 2012, when he scored record-breaking 91 goals in a calendar year will be always memorable. Despite growth hormones deficiency, he achieved this much at this age is really remarkable. It’s been 7-8 years since then but I never get tired of watching his game. He made me realize that football is not just a game but it's an emotion.

Once Messi said that he will take retirement from football when he will stop enjoying it and that day football world will cry, I'll cry, his departure will be a big loss for football. He is just an unbelievable person I have ever seen. I admire him in all ways. His down to earth nature always motivates me to be like him. I can watch him whole day without any break.
