Mia and Tia

One bright morning, Mia came chirping to Tia who looked busy preening his feathers in the morning sunlight.

Mia wanted to show Tia something she thought to be wonderful.

"Hi, I am busy. Let me come some other time." Tia replied without stopping his preening.

But Mia will not let him go like that. "It is something wonderful." Mia kept on chattering near him. 

"Oh! My God! You are so adamant" Tia fluttered his feathers to set them right.

Mia flew fast to the portico of a new building. Till yesterday, no humans were there. But today, Tia could see a two wheeler parked there.

"Is this something wonderful you wanted to show me?" Tia frowned at her.

Mia flew towards the side mirrors on the two-wheeler. Chattering all the while, she circled around the right mirror. 

Tia joined her and both of them looked into the mirror.

A spotless reflection of the two chirping sparrows looked at them.

"Is this not wonderful?" Mia exclaimed.

"Hmm, these girls" Tia murmured and flew away from there.

Moral of the story: You can't always get what you want
