Michael

Once upon a time, there was a small village on the edge of the forest. The people of the village were poor and struggled to make ends meet every day.

One day a young man named Michael decided to leave his village and seek his fortune in the big city. As he was packing his bag, his mother came up to him and said, “You are my only son, and I cannot bear to see you go away. But I know you must go to make something of yourself. So I will make a sacrifice for you and give you my most precious possession – my necklace.”

Michael was touched by his mother’s gesture and accepted the necklace. He vowed to himself that he would never forget her sacrifice and make something of himself so he could make her proud.

Michael went to the city and worked hard. He worked long hours and saved every penny he could. After a few years, he was able to buy a small business and eventually became quite successful.

Years later, when Michael returned to his village for a visit, he saw his mother and gave her the biggest hug he could. He thanked her for her unwavering love and sacrifice, and he gave her back the necklace as a token of his appreciation.

Michael’s mother was overcome with emotion and thanked him for his success. She said to him, “My son, your success is my success. You have made me so proud.”
