Miles To Go

It was the last leg of the journey. I had taken a small afternoon nap, and by the time I got up, all co-passengers have got down at their destinations. The Sun was about to set and the darkness was engulfing the sky. Now the journey is through hills and woods. I have to travel a long distance, all alone. I was little apprehensive of how to complete the journey, feeling dejected that everybody got down leaving me alone. I have given company to all of them during the long journey, offering them my seat, offering them water and food. I even listened to their problems and tried to sort it out. Throughout the journey I made it sure that we all had a nice time, but they didn't even inform me that they will not accompany me till the final destination.

I have to travel alone. I have to reach my destination because I have promised to my family. She must be waiting for dinner. The journey through the woods has begun. It was completely dark outside. It was suffocating inside, so I just opened the window. Immediately I could smell the nature. I put my head out of the window, Oh God what a feeling. The soft touch of the cool and pure air freshen up me. I was taking a deep breath to fill my lungs with the fresh oxygen and gear up myself to enjoy the journey. I know it is a tough journey, but I will make it. Let me enjoy the loneliness, let me enjoy my own company. Don't waste your time thinking about your co-passengers. 

I have started enjoying the brightness of the darkness. I could realis that there are so many stars in the sky. There is a better life in the lap of nature. I could hear the song sang by the trees. I was surprised at the love and affection of nature, they were making it sure that my journey is comfortable. They have rejuvenated me. I got myself motivated. The journey has become very enjoyable. I could feel that the wind is whispering in my ear, it is your journey, enjoy it and you will reach your destination. Don't expect other's companies.Have you ever seen we expect anything from you people?

Nature has taught me the lesson of life. Go alone, walk alone then only you know that you are capable of achieving everything. You have it within you.

Miles to go before I sleep. But I will make it. I could hear her voice, I am waiting, we will have dinner together. I could see the hue of the light in the distant sky. It was my destination.
