Miss Purple Cloak

Hello friends! I am Aanya. I am an engineering student. I am an ordinary girl with some lovely dreams in eyes. Since my childhood, I am good at my academics. My dad says, “my daughter would be a great engineer one day!” I know painting. My mom says, “my daughter would be an excellent artist in future!”

But I want to be a change maker. I want to help people, I want to stand beside children and women. Perhaps, the almighty granted my secret wish. One day, I found something brilliant!!

Sssshhhhh. It’s a top secret of my life. I have a secret attire which I use as my secret weapon. It’s a cloak, my purple cloak. For the world I am Aanya. But for people I stretch my hands for helping them at least a little, for the people I love to be around, I am ‘Miss Purple Cloak’.

One day, I was returning from my school. I was a rainy day. I was walking on the street alone. Suddenly, I heard a sound from afar. I turned around, and found, there was a box wrapped with purple paper, on the roadside bench. Curiously, I took the box. Out of my utmost curiosity, gradually, I opened the box. And you know what I found there? It was a long, bright cloak with lots of far. It was a cloak of purple colour.

Suddenly, I heard a call. It was like a scream, it seemed like someone was calling for help. I saw around, but there was nobody. Without thinking anything else, I wore the cloak. And guess what happened next! I was disappeared, completely!

And on the next second, I reached to the place where I had never been, never in my life. It was a small town, somewhere very far away from my hometown. I searched for the call. After a moment, I saw, there was a little child, stranded under a log of tree. Nobody was near the child. I went to him and rescued him from that place.

He hugged me with love. When I embraced him with my arms, it felt like, I had become a superheroine for that moment. I realized, that cloak was not an ordinary cloak at all. It has some super power, hidden inside. I kept the secret on my heart’s farthest chamber.
