What Is Mother’s Love ?

When it comes to the world around us, we all have an inward tendency for self-interest and selfishness. It can be good to be a little selfish to take care of your emotional, mental, and physical well-being. But when it comes to humanity we all need to keep this selfishness aside. Regret we rarely or hardly do that or we must say that a very small number of people do that. ….But I know a person in this mortal world, whose heart is clearer than water, free from selfishness and all. Who’s that person?? Yeah, of course, that person is the only Mother. Mother this is the only single person in the world whose love is incalculable and eternal. She has a love for their husband, parents, children, relatives, etc. It is mother who never left us alone. Everyone may be gone but a mother will never leave you alone. Mother always bless and never curse. 

            This is the story of a mother and her son. A poor mother lived in a village of Gahmar, situated in Ghazipur district of Uttar Pradesh. She lived in a small house with her son named Hamid. He was 7 years old. His mother was planning to send him to school but she did not have enough money for the same then she decided to work for collecting money so that her son could go to school to get an education. She started working in nearby houses of his village. She used to cook food, washing dishes and clothes, look after of small children etc, just only for the sake of her dream i.e. her son could be a successful doctor.

             After some months when she had enough money, she sent her son to school. She wanted to make her son successful doctor because she wanted that no one should die due to lack of money as her husband died, before the birth of Hamid his father had a heart attack and could not be treated due to lack of money. She worked very hard from dawn to dusk for the education of her son. She prepared a healthy breakfast and tiffin for her son daily and sent him to school by bus. Hamid was also a brilliant student in his class. He was a very hard-working boy whenever he got some free time he started reading higher classes books that’s why he was able to answer all technical questions in class, within no time he became every teacher’s favorite student and the School administration decided to give him a scholarship for his further studies .His mother always prays success and a long life for him because he was the only person in her life who could bring some sunshine into her life. He completed his school journey with top position in his school. His mother felt that she got the reward of her prayers that her son passed the first stage of learning with a very good result. After completing school he got admission in medical college and started the journey to becoming a doctor. In medical college, his performance was also brilliant. After lots of hard work, patience, and determination he became a doctor and got a job in a government hospital in his village and started to deliver his services to the people of his village. But in his entire journey of hardworking he did not forget his mother’s dream. He keep on working hard and within a couple of years he had some amount of money and buy a land for the clinic. Now the problem is that how to construct a clinic. Now he did not have money for building it. After discussing with his mother he and his mother came to an agreement to take a loan from the bank for the clinic and also he is a government employee that’s why there will be no problem in getting loan from the bank. After getting loan clinic had been constructed with in several months. On the day of his mother’s birthday he arranged a small inauguration party and his mother cut the ribbon of the clinic. On that day he provided free consultation and medicine to all the patients. After that he put a notice on the notice board of his clinic that “ free consultation and medicine for all and if anyone didn’t need free medicine then one can donate desirable amount of money in the donation box” and started treating peoples. His mother was so happy that his son became a doctor and fulfilling her dream, helping poor peoples and taking care of her also.

             Everything was going fine, one day his friends called him to meet. They decided a day for a meeting. Hamid finished all his work on time and left from the clinic to meet his friends. They have met at the college's canteen because they all wanted to reminisce. After spending some time with each other they asked each other about their job, where they was serving, salary, house, Flat, etc, but when they asked to Hamid about his work and life then Hamid answered them that he is working for his mother’s dream and providing free treatment to his locality peoples. After hearing that all of his friends started laughing and said… listen Hamid you are living in a selfish world, here no one cares about anybody then why are you spoiling your life by doing that, see us we all have a good house, car, bike and what you have? think about that with a calm mind and start working for yourself and your well-being.

             After returning home he thought about that and decided to migrate to another city, now he also wanted to become rich. Greediness started rising in his heart. After some days closing the clinic, he migrated to another city and started working there. He broke the heart of his mother and many peoples. He became so selfish. Earlier he used to treat patients for free but now he did not talk to the patients without fee. Day by day he was becoming wealthier and started having a luxurious life. Within no time he bought a car a, good apartment. He left his mother alone and even did not thought how she will survive alone.

             His mother all the time kept thinking about him, pray for him, believing that one day her son would come back. Peoples of his village was also sad and believed that Hamid will came back soon. One day she became ill, She had a high fever and cold. Hamid’s neighbour Mayank was very closed to his mother. He used to visit every evening for seeing his mother. He had a routine to visit Hamid’s house every day since Hamid left the village. In the evening Mayank went to visit to lady, when he entered the house he saw that she was vomitting and had a fever. Seeing that he called another person from outside for the help and took her to the hospital and called to Hamid and told that his mother was not well after hearing this tears came out from his eyes and he realised his mistake to move to the city and broked his mother’s dream. On the same day he came back to his village. He went to hospital, hugged his mother and started crying and apologized to her. Two days his mother admitted in the hospital after two days Hamid and his mother went to their house. Hamid take care of her mother very much and started again to serve his village peoples. When his mother became fully fit and fine then he talked to his mother about his job in the city. He discussed with his mother that he will go to City for three days and came back in the evening because the distance between his village and city was very less and rest of the four days he will continue to work in his clinic like before. His mother agreed on that and allow him to go to City. They started living a happy life again and the peoples of his village was also too much happy with his decision and prays a lots of good wishes to Hamid and his mother.

      

               Mothers love is very precious and priceless, she loves her children in every situation whether her children loves her or not, take care of her or not but she always does the same for their children. The Mother is the golden-hearted person in this whole mortal world. No one can take the place of the mother’s love and care. We all should try our best to keep our mother happy and give her a respect and love.
