My childhood story

As in my childhood we all siblings are fond of reading books. Mother and father are both government servants. They used to bring books related to children for us. As I was the most studious among four siblings. We used to fight that who will read the book firstly. As the books brought were only one or two in numbers. My this story has some autobiographical touch also. As I have read many children's story books like Panchatantra and hitop Desh mainly. The cartoon character I like the most was Chacha Chaudhary ,Pinky, Billu etc. Every month  our father brought Champak magazine also.

      Out of these story, the stories which fascinated me the most were Japanese mermaid stories. Which even today I would love to read if I got cancer from anywhere. I become so curios to know about the life of a mermaid. I always think whether they really exist or not.As at that time I was a small kid so I do believe that mermaid exist in reality. And I wish that by somehow means I could go to Japan and either meet or saw those mermaids about which I am reading in this story books. I always wish to meet a mermaid and who would fulfil or make my dreams come true. So this was the trust I have been built inside myself by learning or reading these mermaid stories

     I Shweta now a grown up woman and telling my daughter the same stories which I have read. But as the now time has been changed her question are different from my type of questions she also got fascinated towards Mermaid but for her now there are lots and lots of options open to choose a character of your choice like Little Pony Dora the Explorer etc. In this way I try to live my childhood again with my daughter itself and with the wider perspective
