Hi! I am Shreya. I am 11 years old and I study in std 6th. I love dancing, drawing, and most of all, writing. I also love to do ballet. People call me- Sheru, Shreyu, cutie pie, or cheesecake. I have many fun incidents captured in my mind, and they are pretty funny and nice ones. I wish to share these with you all......

Std 1st

It was my first day in a different class with different pupils. Actually, I had been in the same school since kindergarten, but when we went in 1st standard, all the students got shifted in other classes. Some kids were crying, or some were angry, some were happy. I loved how the tables were arranged. 'How pretty is my class!' I said as I entered my class. Suddenly, I felt a gentle tap on my shoulder. A girl was smiling at me shyly, and I supposed she wanted to say something. 'Hey... Um.... my name is Gargi. Will you be my friend?' she asked. 'Of course!' I said. So, my and Gargi's bonding got stronger, and soon we became best friends. I also had another one named Advika who was my BFF since I was 8 months old, I had also written a whole story dedicated to her. You can check it out!

Std 2nd

Nothing happened so much special in this year, but probably in 2nd or 3rd, a new girl came to class named Reenika. She was very nice to everyone, and we became friends. And, she also introduced me to a friend of hers named Shragvi. She wasn't shy at all, but she didn't like to talk much. But she was a sweet girl.

Std 3rd

I got close to a friend named Shambhavi. She was my bench partner, and she was very funny. One day, we had a fight, but it didn't last for long. We became friends again. We also helped each other in studies. Also, a friend, P (I don't want to expose her name due to some circumstances, so let's call her P) started calling Shragvi 'chugu'. It was a funny name, wasn't it? Well, first Shragvi didn't like it at all that she was called so, but slowly she understood that we loved her, and we wanted her to have a cute and funny pet name. So, she laughed whenever we called her Chugu.

Std 4th

In this class, I was characterised as a shy girl. I was really one since 1st, but people realised as I got older. Some kids teased me, and I also used to get angry. But Gargi would always calm me down, and she was used to teasing too. Reenika, P, Shragvi and Shambhavi were all not this type. They were in the list of confident children. Also, P became too mean, and started being more close to the meanest girl in class, A (I don't wish to expose her name, too!). I was okay in front of my special friends, but not in front of Teachers, Guests, Outsiders or even vegetable sellers! I was a complete 'Nerdy!'

Std 5th

I got a loving class teacher, Rekha miss in this class. She treated me equally as other confident students. I scored really nice marks, but I was shy. Also, Advika started improving my shyness. But I was not completely comfident. I also started Homibhabha classes in 5th. I also got a pet dog as a gift in summer vacations. She is a pomerian, and her name is Daisy. She is very naughty. Also, a bonus incident- one day, I was playing with sanitizer (Probably for no reason). I accidently sprayed it in my eye. I was magnificently, hugely lucky, because I had specs. From that day, whenever my specs saved me or whenever I dropped it by mistake, I started saying 'I am sooooooooo sorry, I will not do it again'. And only then I used to put them on. Also, people said I looked pretty when I put my specs on : p.

Std 6th (The most fun part you all were waiting for. Hehe...)

In 6th standard, (in current standard), due to COVID 19 virus, we were doing online schooling. I got very close to Reenika and Gargi, because we discovered that we share a thing in common, that is, we love writing! There was not a single boring teacher in 6th standard unlike all other standards. My marks also improved a lot, especially in Sanskrit, which was a new subject in class 6. At least one boring teacher was there in other standards. But so lucky we are, we got all loving and fun teachers, especially Math and Sanskrit teachers. Sanskrit miss specially loves me a lot, and she is my favourite teacher. I don't usually talk in math class, but I love maths very much. Also, I kept the record of spell bee awards, which I got since third standard. Every year, I got one medal for passing second last level, and one medal for getting a rank in spell bee. I was very proud for it as well. Also, a really surprising thing happened. I became very confident. Also, a little more confident than Advika. Not a as confident as my other friends, but more! But in a different way. My friends who are reading this – even if you think I'm not so confident yet, now read these events which happened-

1) Soon, for some temporary days, physical schooling started! I was very happy. One day, our class teacher, Meera miss asked a question. There was a substitution for online students, so they couldn't attend that class. Only 3 kids out of 18 raised their hands, and they were- Me, Aarya, and Kavin. And we looked at each other raising hands. I narrowed my eyes, and looked at the front. Suddenly, 'Miss me!' 'NO, miss me!' 'Miss, I know the answer!' We started shouting at the same time. Miss started laughing at us. 'Okay, one at a time! Shreya, give me the answers to exercise 3. And what about the others? Are you all sleeping? Remember, in physical class, you can't turn your camera off.' I smirked at Arya, who always got the chance first. Also, in online classes, I always shouted saying, 'Good morning miss!' I don't know if it is loud to online people, but mom said she was able to hear till the 3rd floor! Also, I always asked questions in Homibhabha class. Miss always got frustrated of me fussing over with questions. One day, I didn't have any questions, and the lesson was clear. And miss said, 'The class seems to be quiet today. Probably because Shreya doesn't have any questions!' All laughed.

2) This might be the funniest and silliest event you must've ever heard. One day, Me and my mom went to the fruit seller in the afternoon. My mom bought some grapes and 4 juicy apples for me. We went home, and after dinner, I, mom, dad, and my grandparents were eating the fruit and watching our favourite serial- Aggabai sasubai : P. I was about to eat the first apple when I saw something written on the fruit with a pen. I quickly showed it to dad. 'What is this written? The handwriting is bad.' I said. 'Hmm.... let me see...... Davlat? What is this, and why is this written?' 'It can probably be bad for health if people wrote with a pen on fruits. At least stickers would be okay!' First, I thought there was some type of apples named Davlat, but there was no such type. The next day, I and mom went to the same shop to buy more grapes and oranges, and due to my insistence, a dragon fruit. 'Yesterday's grapes were very sweet and the apples were so juicy! They are the same type as yesterday, right?' Mom asked. As the fruit vendor was weighing the fruits, I suddenly remembered the fruit. 'Excuse me, but is there any other type of orange other than Nagpur and Punjabi?' I asked. 'No, child, there is no other type. But why?' the vendor said. 'I got an apple yesterday, and the name Davlat was written on it.' I said in my loud, alarming voice, which was heard clearly in the noise on the road. 'Oh, it is my name. We write our name on the topmost fruit to understand its ours. We don't sell those fruits, but. I am so sorry!' When we were walking home, mom said, 'Shreya, you embarrass me!' 'Mom, can't I ask questions? If I don't, people will not call me a human.' I spoke. 'It is very fair to ask such a question, because he will keep in mind now, that they should not keep those fruits for selling now. Also, when I was in 3rd when someone gave me something, I used to be too shy to take it. But now, I am like- 'Well thank you so much!' Also, when anyone troubles me, I am very independent to shout, 'Mind your own business, I'm not the one whom you can trouble.' I am also becoming too strong by strength. My mom also says, 'You act as strong as you were in the childhood when you were 1 year old. You know, whenever other kids troubled you and your friends, your friends used to run to their moms and cry. But you used to hit them on their face!'
