My Lover's Ex

There's a girl who dwells near the Southside River. She has a certain aura about her. She appears to have a certain despitefulness for my lover. The more She is repulsed to him, the more I feel attracted towards her, as if the universe is telling us to find the balance between the forces. She usually has dry Kohled eyes undeviating from her point of view and an aligned nose, always up with pride. She seems like the person who can rationalize even the deepest of feelings and emotions. For a girl who works on the farm, her clothes are strikingly clean and her unequivocal thoughts seem to be echoing through the Dene. She has the darkest eyes, and secrets darker than those. She is like the silence before any tempest, like the placid riverwater flowing. 

But she had had her struggles too, her share of heartbreak. Not so long ago, the Romeo of her story turned out to be the evildoer. The person whom she thought to be "the knight in shining armour" backstabbed her, as the villagers say. And the knight left her for a townsgirl who had recently moved to the backwaters. And it was me. But why do not I feel a devotion for this lover who went against everything yo love me???!!! Because I fell for that dark eyed girl. I fell for my lover's ex.
