Nerd Nadzooks - Entry 2

                                             

Dear diary, 

Mom's been a lot into baking lately. That's actually awesome 'cause I am the taste-tester and everything she makes turns out delicious! She made brownies yesterday! YUM! However, Dad didn`t taste any because he`s been on a strict diet, suggested by Mom. She actually gave him a dirty look while suggesting which I think, meant – Dare you touch any of my brownies !! Dad didn`t dare eat any of the muffins or cupcakes either, and the chocolates are still in the refrigerator. Poor DAD!!

Me, Emma and Kelly met yesterday evening at the Pizza4Ever restaurant and planned everything. Mark`s birthday was gonna be LEGENDARY, with sundae and ice-cream bar, all-you-can-eat buffet, a ball pit, slides, and some famous characters to take pictures with, like SpongeBob SquarePants. The cost would be decided by Kelly`s parents because all this would be SUPER expensive, like, more than 500 dollars, which was actually the cost of MY party. School was great today! } Ms. Lesley, my English teacher, gave me an award for my handwriting and exemplary performance. She actually asked me to come to the front to receive it. Yay! } She said, "Good morning, everyone. I am pleased to announce that Olivia Fernandes of our class has won an honorable award dedicated to her beautiful penmanship. Congratulations!" I slowly came to the front and murmured a "thanks". Everyone congratulated me! YOOHOO! } 

Dad`s been working from home this summer, which is kind of inconvenient, because I play games on the laptop, which he gets. Typical. Mom says that dad is earning but I can`t EARN through a game! I don`t even have a phone, so that`s not the best time to start WFH, dad! My little sister, Elly, was brushing her teeth when I reached the dining table. Brushing her teeth with a SCRUBBER !! I immediately reached out and SNATCHED that thingy from her! Seriously! That stuff isn`t for teeth. She immediately yelled, "GIVE MY BRUSH BACK!" I scoffed, "Yeah, right! That`s a brush and I am a stupid animal! I want to see you brushing your teeth with a REAL brush now!" She sulked but picked her brush up and started to clean her teeth. 

After that drama, mom decided that we should head to the living room for a Movie Marathon! Normally I would have been happy because mom and me love the same movies, but then I realized that Elly was tagging ALONG with us! Which is so NOT fair! I don`t get to tag along with her when she watches her stupid cartoons! Mom is calling! Gotta go! BYE!
