No Such Thing As Ghosts

Growing up I didn't like to be scared at all even though I love watching horror movies a lot, this happened when I and my brother were watching an extremely horror film and after watching that movie he asked me if I believe in ghosts.

I didn't want to scare my younger brother so I answered that I didn't believe in ghosts and he shouldn't too as it's all fake and fictional in the movies. But after giving an expression that I was lying he told me that our maid Jenny believes in ghosts and she sees also.

I was shocked to hear that because our maid left our job last month because she committed suicide and my brother wasn't supposed to know that but after what he told me, I told him everything about what happened to Jenny.

My young brother was scared than he ever was and started crying, I felt guilty so I decided to stop the joke and told him I was just bluffing and finally calmed him down.

Jenny whispered to me, "it wasn't a suicide".
