Odd ball.

  There were four school friends. After retirement, three of them settled in city and one of them was in their native place. They had still affinity towards their native place. They frequently used to visit their native place and their friends. They generally would go to those places where they had spent their maximum time together. There was no as such financial and family burden over them. They were like free birds, hence they wanted to fly high in the sky like birds. They wanted to do those activities which they couldn’t do in their life due to lack of time and money. They would arrange their short tour together by their own car frequently for enjoying their rest of the life.

               

      They planed to go to the friend’s farm house who was friend of one of them. They started their journey from the city on scheduled day. One of them was a writer as well as poet. He had written book named “VARSHA “  which was on meteorological science. He wanted to give a copy of it to the library where he did his graduation in science. They went to college. He asked the concerned peon for giving message to principal that a ex-student of college would like to meet with him. After some time principal allowed them to meet him.

All of them went altogether in his chamber. Writer friend introduced himself to principal. The principal was also student of the same college for the same batch with biology branch. They would recap their old memories. They recognized each other. They were happy to meet with each-other after period of nearly forty years. Principal welcomed him as friend breaking the protocol of guest. They exchanged their old memories with each other. They shared the valuable events of their life among them. They thanked to principal for warm welcome and nice memorable meeting. He handed over his book him which was photographed altogether.

                     On next leg, they picked their another friend from their native place. They went to their friends farm house in the late evening. They were in trouble due to worst road which was under repairing. Any how they reached the farm house . They enjoyed there for a day. Next day they proceed to Tipeshrvar wild life tiger project. Their scheduled timing to visit the tiger forest was next day early in morning. They were sitting in the circle near to open fire to warm up the body due to extreme cold. There was another tourist who was oddball to them. He also joined us. He was alone and came by his own car from AhamadNagar from the same state. We were talking with each other on various subject. We exchanged our thoughts. He told us that he used to come frequently to various tiger projects in Vidarbha.

He had good collection of wildlife animals and birds. He showed us all of them which were in his mobile. He had good knowledge of habitat of the wildlife. We had the dinner to-gather. After dinner we had again some interesting talk on wildlife around fire. At last we told him that we couldn’t see the real tiger in our life even after visiting so many tiger projects. That would be our second visit to see live tiger in the forest next day morning. We said good night to him and returned back to our rooms for sound sleep.

                  Next day morning, we were ready for Jangle Safari. We were awaiting our jeep which was already booked . Our recent new friend got ready who planed earlier to go by his own car. He was in dilemma .We asked him that would he like to come with us for Jangle Safari in our jeep ?. He accepted our proposal at the drop of hat. He might be waiting for same opportunity. He accompanied us. He had a lot of information than the paid guide. He had very powerful wildlife camera. On the route, he used to take so many photographs of flying and sitting birds on trees. He also clamped natural spot on the way in his camera. He was describing the birds on the way about their colors, wings and eyes. We were astonished about his briefing during our journey.

None of us was easily able to see the birds and small animal, but they were photographed by him. We felt that he was just joking as we didn’t know about wildlife animals, birds and variety of trees. We were only interested to see live tiger and natural beauty of the forest. We moved in length and breadth of the forest, but we couldn’t see live tiger as in the past. We were cold feet on this occasion also. When we reached to our destination, we thanked him for his updated information about Jangle safari. We were his fan. No sooner did we got ready to proceed for next journey than he downloaded all pictures and sent on our what’s up. Then we saw all those pictures. We saw the individual parts of all birds and animal including the different colors of eyes and wings in the received pictures. Then we assured that he was really observing all those things through its power full special design camera about which he narrating us time to time. Looking at fad of the stranger, we decided to visit all tiger project till we wouldn’t see live tiger. The odd ball opened our eyes and taught us a lesson not to lose our temperament, excitement at all before achieving the target.
