Parents Never Leave

I ran past the barbed wire, trying not to get caught. I heard gun shots fire near me

"ARGH!"

I scream then cover my mouth quickly realizing my mistake.

"Please, please, Please," I repeat to myself, "They can't find me, I can't die!" I dropped to the ground and covered my head.

"Darling it's just us" I heard my mother say.

I shot up and ran to her, I ran into her arms knowing that she will keep me safe. I softly cried and she comforted me. My mum and dad are all I have left. I let go and sunk to to ground, my parents got on the ground too. "Shh, I hear something"

I said softly and they both nodded. I looked all around but saw nothing. I grabbed my pocket knife and switched it to the blade side. I kept it by my side and every time I heard a noise I would lift it, I looked over and saw my dad holding a hand gun, he was ready to shoot someone. I looked around once more and the coast was clear. I shoved my pocket knife in my pocket and stood. I went forward and I looked back and saw my parents still on the ground, they were mouthing something but I couldn't hear because they didn't actually talk, I turn back round and feel a cold thing on my head. I looked over and saw a man from the other side, oh no. I looked forward and tears started trickling down my cheeks, I knew it! I'm going to die. My parents were gone, yep they left me to protect them selves. I started crying some more then I surrendered. I heard something drop then I saw the man's face, mouth open, eyes wide open. He fell backwards and his blank face was scaring me, I look at his chest and I see a knife stuck in his heart. I saw my dad standing there, they didn't leave! "I love you!"

I scream quietly and hugged him. At last I was again in safe hands.
