Parvati, the woman behind the name is solemnly an extremely versatile being, especially in our Hinduism context. She is the gentle and nurtured form of the "Adi Parashakti".She is the "Supreme Goddess" & another term for "Supremacy". She's the "Mother of this Universe"(Jagat Janani). She is the divine power amidst male & female. She's the "Mother Nature"(Prakriti). She's one of the members of the divine Trinity(Tridevi). She's perennial... It's too intricate to define her. She has dozens of names including Annapurna, Kali, Kaushiki, Durga, Chamunda, Gouri etc.

Mata Parvati is the consort of Lord Shiva, who is the God of destruction. Her legend is the greatest yet truest epitome of femininity. The name might sound simple to ears but her personality is invincible. She has portrayed herself as a luminary in each & every phase of her life which ultimately proves that nothing is impossible. A strong determination facilitates everything. The entire life of Mata Parvati has aspired to me a lot & I feel it is imperative to pen down such facts in order to aspire to others. Here I'm going to narrate about them briefly...

*Amplifying the vested Adishakti from a normal human-

One of the greatest feasibility yet inspiring phase of her life is her transformation from Parvati to Adishakti Parvati. Undoubtedly the journey was extremely arduous but despite this, she achieved it. As her father is the king of Mountains (Parvat), she regarded as 'Parvati'. From their early childhood days, she was adored to Lord shiva & with the coming of womanhood, she decided to marry him. But he denied following his asceticism. Princess Parvati's intense love for him didn't let her stop. Following her beloved, she also started to lead an ascetic life like him & went for an intense penance by abandoning all the luxuries of the palace. Even the Lord shiva himself in disguise tried to conveyance her to abandon the penance. But she remained firm in her path. She had penanced more than 11,000 years for Lord shiva. Her dense devotion and juggernaut willpower finally made him fall for her and endorse her as his better half.

This deep intense penance for years and years had galvanized her inner strengths which led to the intensification of the "Adishakti" vested within her.

From being born to a king as a normal simple human being like us up to creating an aura of being the Adishakti is itself an embodiment of the feasibility.

"Sky is the only limit... If you're diligent" This tale teaches us.

*An Ideal Daughter -

She was born to King Himavan & Mainavati. The King Himavan is often regarded as the King Himalaya. An ideal daughter is the one who always adheres to her parents' words, who never encroached, who works diligently by hook or by crook to accomplish her goals in order to make her parents feel proud. All the mentioned traits emerge from the tales of Mata Parvati as a daughter. She never encroached. She has always obeyed her parent's words. She was convinced regarding her goal & abundantly worked hard, later became succeed also. She has accomplished her own entity through hard work. Thus now the entire world is recognizing King Himavan & Mainavati as the parents of Mata Parvati instead of the Daughter of King Himavan. What could be more precious for any parents rather than this?

*An Ideal Wife-

When it comes to an instance of an ideal wife none other than Mata Parvati tops the slot. She is pious, pure & sacred. She loves her husband more than anyone else. Her husband is her friend, love & God. Her entire soul & world vested within him. Her dwell, her family is the paradise for her. She also keens her interest in worldly affairs along with her husband & before taking any petty decision, she never forgets to seek permission from her husband. She's beautiful, charming. She never exceeds her limits. These traits undoubtedly reflect her as an Ideal wife.

*An Ideal Mother & Householder:-

Like an ideal daughter & wife, Mata Parvati is also an Ideal mother & householder, not only to her children but also to this entire universe. She has two sons & one daughter named Lord Kartikeya, Lord Ganesha & Goddess Lavanya respectively. She's cheerful & humorous. She takes care of them. She is endued with sweet speech, sweet conduct & sweet features. She finds her happiness in the physical & emotional nourishment of her husband & family. Their happiness is her happiness, their sorrow is her sorrow. She remains positive even when her husband & children are angry. She always remains by their side even in their adversity & illness. She's generous & prude. She is very humble to her kins & friends and always looks forward to helping them If she can. She welcomes guests with a delightful smile & feeds them graciously & encourages a righteous social life. She considers her family & abode as her paradise. She's happy with whatever she has & never goes for any unnecessary demands. She always acts as a salvation to her children. These traits genuinely represent her as an Ideal mother as well as a householder.

*An unique entity, leadership:-

Despite being idealistic from every aspect, she has made her own entity as Shakti, as Durga, like Kali, as Chamunda & so on. As a leader, she has often helped her husband Lord shiva & her brother Lord Vishnu in the management of the welfare ness of this universe by slaying bulks of demons. Her mount is Lion & Tiger. She's ferocious to the sinners, devil minds and has been killed enormous demons including durgamasur, mahishasur, shumbh & nishumbh(As Durga), rakhta beej, dhumrashur, Daruk (As Kali). Kali is the most ferocious & wrathful form of Mata Parvati. If this wrathful form won't be controlled in time, then it will lead to the hinder. It will demolish this globe. She is worshipped for fertility, love, harmony, marriage, children, devotion & divine strength & power. Navaratri is one of her significant cultures. She's always dear to her devotees whom she protects always from every plight. So apart from being an ideal daughter, wife, mother & householder, She's also the one who has placed herself at the apex of the leadership.

We all are not apart from her. She exists within us. Every woman is a shakti herself. We can also be like her. We can also be idealistic being inclusive. We have the potential to achieve anything in our life like Mata Parvati. But that demands hard work, determination & confidence.

You might say, she is Adishakti, what will be impossible to her? But let me tell you again, she has become Adishakti by intense hard penance, which she had begun as a normal human being like us. She had also suffered a lot but she had remained stubborn to her goals. She was born as a human-like us. If she can do then why not us?

Since my childhood hitherto, I've been witnessed a plethora of situations...where a woman considers herself as tenuous, vulnerable, sometimes as a slave also. But actually, we're not like that. Our reality is something beyond like Mata Durga. We can be sweet spoken like Mata Parvati & also be wrathful & aggressive like Goddess Durga at the same time. All it needs is self-realization & self-confidence.

The preface behind the writing of this piece by emphasizing the excellence of Mata Parvati in every field is intended to make each & every girl & woman to realize their inner potential only & also to slap those stereotypes who consider woman as an object meant for slave, insider & the basic need for their procreation.
