Post love tragedy

                      There was a fairly big family staying at district level place whose house chief was a state government employee. They had strong link with their rural relatives. Elder son of the family completed his poly-technique course In civil engineering successfully. He was appointed as junior engineer in state government public work department in some small town. Other kids of the family were completing the school education as per their ability and capacity under the guidance of house chief. Elder son was staying in rented house at his work place whose master had two beautiful daughters. He had a first love at sight with elder daughter. Both belonged to the same community having different sub-caste. Boy and girl belonged to the highest and lowest sub-caste respectively. Both loved with each other. It was age just few decades after independence. There was no as such polarization within the sub-caste in the main community. The community people was still so rigid that they were not ready to make relation within the sub-caste in the same community.

                  The family of a girl was ready for making the relation with each other as birds in hand was worth than two birds in bush. But the family of a boy wanted to get rid of that relation. But the boy had bitten the bullet. Hence he wanted to marry with her at the bomb cost. Looking his struggle, will and firm determination,His family agreed for the wedding. His parent didn’t invite their relatives in the marriage function as it was inter-caste for avoiding criticism. The news was spread in the community with leaps and bound. It was matter of discussion within the community in length and breadth. But they pulled their legs. His parent as well as nearest relatives were targeted on many occasion for violation of community act. They were always humiliated by rigid orthodox of the community.

                       Some of the private contractors got along with him. So their friendship had been grown in professional way as there were no other friends in town. They would give him bribe for getting undue advantage pertaining to official work. He was hesitating for taking bribe from them in the beginning as he was not habituated. But they used to give him forcefully as family gift. Later He get habituated to do so. All the concerned contractors together gave him a plot as gift in his marriage. He built his own beautiful house on the same plot in the same town after a few years. His habit of taking bribe made him greedy. He was always short of money due to huge expenditure on construction of big house as well as maintaining high living standard. He had heavy burden on his head such as loan and credit from market. His greediness was so increased exceptionally that he would find various sources for getting illegal money.

Excess greediness was turn out to be fatal for him. He was suspended by department. Departmental inquiry committee was set up to look into the various complaints received against him. The committee ran through entire matter and fixed charge-sheet against him. He couldn’t submit proper explanation in ins and outs in black and white against fixed charges. The office would reask him another questions against submitted explanation. He wanted to get away from the problem. He therefore stopped submitting the explanation on raised points of an inquiry committee. Meanwhile he started his own business of construction at the cross road. He would earn good profit from new business. He made hay while sun was shining.

                    His father was government servant. He was as cleaver as lawyer in such inquiry matter. No sooner had he known about suspension of his son than he had taken the responsibility of dealing his case. He would reply all queries of the inquiry committee regularly in black and white as such it would not reach the inquiry committee. He would send the reply letter carrying explanation to raised queries by ordinary mail under certificate of posting from the post office. Instead of handing over the ordinary mail to concerned employee, he would obtain only seal with date over receipt for under certificate of posting by giving him bribe. This act would mean that  the mail was handed over to the post office by concerned person, but it might be either reach to destination or lost in transit. Post office would not be responsible for mail at all. He would preserve all such documents as per his chalked plan. Since the committee wouldn’t get any response from suspended employee,the department issued his termination order as per their set norms. So he was removed from the service without any financial benefit.

As soon as his son received the termination order, his father then filed petition in the lower court against the department for not providing the proper opportunities for putting his stand against the fixed charges. When case came on hearing to judge in the court. Judge asked the department that how he was terminated without giving sufficient opportunities for putting his stand in the matter. Then department placed the correspondence done with him. the department also told that the removed employee didn’t reply to their various quires time to time. When the judge asked to the client lawyer about the replied matter, He also submitted all documents containing explanations date wise to raised quires by the department with proof. when judge asked the authority that concerned party already submitted his explanation to your quires. Authorities told to judge that office didn’t received any explanation from him.

The terminated engineer submitted all receipts of certificate of posting date-wise to judge with seal of post office. It was a concrete proof about sent explanation to all queries of department. The department urged to judge that he would have sent them by register post to the department, then it would have not lost. Client layer urged to judge that his client was firstly suspended and then terminated. His client couldn’t able to survive in such worst condition due financial crises how he would spend money for registration of mails for such long official processes. It was the blunder of concerned employee of department for missing the received mail for which he should be punished. Since the case was crystal clear,Honorable court issued an order to reinstate him. He got the all due payment for entire period after joining the department. As he had completed the required service period for taking voluntarily retirement, he had submitted an application for voluntarily retirement from job. Department accepted his request. He was then entitle for monthly pension.  

                He was already shifted to his native place where he started his own business. He had a son and daughter. There was tragedy with his teenager son of motor cycle accident in which he got very serious brain injury. He cost bomb for his recovery from accident. His son was very sharp in study as well as all round activities. But he was an handicapped for ever after accident. He was unmarried. Her daughter did her graduation in dental. She get with her boy friend married without consent of her parent looking at the miserable condition of the family. Their son –in-law was an engineer. They went abroad. The affected family would spend their maximum time to serve lord Sai-baba of Shirdee. They had still ray of hope from him that his miracle would make their son alright one day or other!.
