Ramya's Choice

Ramya is old lady of about 70years she is very active even at this age and gets her pension,she loves to travel but can never because of her family where her son and daughter in law have their kids young to school and she takes care of them!She doesn't spend alot on her,she always thinks to save for her family!

One day she was hanging out with her friends and the wind blew and near her foot came a pamphlet which had printed on it something like the world tour competition,her eye caught it and she put it in her bag!After going home she read that it was a world tour competition in which solo travellers have to discover the world on their own and the travel expenses should be given by themselves the winner will be awarded a huge amount after that,the travellers must travel as many places as possible and record videos for it just like travel bloggers do!

Ramya always wanted to do something like that,she was very happy to have been found that!She decided to participate in it but she remembered about her grandchildren and her husband and also her savings then she thought of backing out but now she really wanted to live her life to the fullest and so she thought for an hour or two and finally decided that she would go!She sent her details for the competition and got ready and told about this to her family!Her family didnt agree,her husband had once been on such tour and loved it but didn't want Ramya to go as she was old and might have problems at this age and also because she had to look after the kids!

She didn't listen to anyone expect herself and packed her bags and got ready with her car and took her savings to travel the world and she also took along her camera!First she visited her city then Ladakh,Jammu and Kashmir then she took flights and travelled to USA,UK,France,Australia,Greece,Antarctica and many more places,she did so for about 2 months and her savings also had come to an end but she didn't regret as she had bought a lot of precious memories and learnings from this and was very happy to have quit her job as she felt though she was educated and retired her family treated her as a nanny and caretaker!

She couldn't win the prize but she had become a famous travel blogger and she found her passion in travelling!This was Ramya's choice to quit her boring life and do something amazing!
