A new website "Shoppers Choice" popped up, promising exquisite gowns at bargain prices, captivating the attention of many in Louisiana. Intrigued by the promise of elegance at a fraction of the cost, people eagerly clicked and purchased.

Among them was Crystal, a young woman drawn in by the allure of a beautiful white gown displayed on the site. With anticipation, she awaited its arrival, imagining herself adorned in its splendor.

When the package arrived at 7pm, Crystal eagerly tore it open, revealing the gown within. It surpassed her expectations, its fabric shimmering under the light, its design exuding elegance. She couldn't believe her luck to own such a masterpiece at such a low price.

Crystal couldn't wait to try it on. A faint scent of lavender, tinged with something mustier, clung to the fabric. Ignoring the unease, she slipped into the gown, it fit her perfectly, enhancing her beauty. Moving to the mirror to admire herself, she took a step forward, only for the power to suddenly go out. A chilling breeze swept through the closed room, causing her discomfort. Uneasy, she quickly undressed and hung the dress in her closet before completing her evening routine.

That night, being tired from her hectic office duties, Crystal slipped in her bed earlier. She switched off the lights. But, she felt an unsettling sensation of being watched. Despite her efforts to sleep, the feeling persisted, accompanied by an eerie atmosphere. As she opened her eyes, she was horrified to see a shadowy figure wearing the dress standing near the closet. Her hands started trembling, her legs lost all their strength. She screamed "Aah!" Her screams pierced the silence as she fumbled for the lamp switch. But when the light finally illuminated the room, there was nothing there, just the dress hanging innocently in the closet. Shaken, Crystal spent a sleepless night.

As rays of sun knocked on her window, she opened it. The morning gave her some hope. She slept and woke up at 9. It was Sunday, and she had a holiday. She tried to shake off her fear and enjoy her day off. She wore the dress again and felt like a princess. However, as night fell, her anxiety returned. After dinner, she retreated to bed. The lights were kept switched on. It was midnight; Crystal didn't know the exact time when her sleep broke. She saw darkness everywhere. She tried to switch on the light, but no, the light was already switched on. 'Oh! Power cut again,' she thought. She tried to sleep, but she heard a sound. This time, she heard noises coming from her closet, someone knocking, as if something inside wanted to escape. She looked at the closet. No, no sound. Her breath quickened. Fear choked her, and she swallowed hard, the lump in her throat refusing to budge. Again, "knock, knock, knock!" This time harder. She lost all her strength. Her body became temporarily paralyzed. Suddenly, power came. The light gave her a sense of relief. But the knocks were now replaced by kicking from inside the closet, as if something wanted to break free. Crystal jumped in fear. She ran downstairs. Terrified, Crystal fled to the safety of a nearby church.

The next morning, she looked tired. Her friend Ivy, in her office, asked her what had happened. She revealed everything.

Her friend Ivy asked, "Since when have you been experiencing this?"

"For the past two nights," Crystal replied.

"Did anything new happen? Did you bring something unusual into your home?" Ivy inquired.

"No," Crystal replied, her voice tinged with tiredness.

"Um, did you buy anything? Any antique piece?" Ivy pressed further.

"No, just a dress. And yes, after the dress was delivered, all of this started happening," Crystal said, her worry evident.

"It was a new dress, right?" Ivy clarified. Crystal nodded in confirmation. "Then it can't be the culprit. It is new," Ivy explained.

"But there was nothing new apart from the dress!" Crystal exclaimed.

"If you think so, then throw it in the dustbin outside your home," Ivy advised.

"But I bought it with my hard-earned money. And I'm not even sure if it..." Crystal began, but she was interrupted by a news headline that popped up on her phone. "Police caught scammers who sold clothes of the dead-on sale!"

With the revelation, they all decided to return the dress to where it belonged. Crystal, now feeling relieved, returned home. She received the refund from the scammers' seized assets and decided to use it to treat herself. Back home, Crystal felt a sense of peace, knowing she had rid herself of the cursed garment of the deceased. But as she prepared for bed, her heart stopped at the sight of the dress lying on her bed, its presence suffocating her with fear. A faint, sinister laughter echoed in her ears, a chilling reminder that buying on sale could lead to a fate far darker than she could have ever imagined.

So, from now on, you must beware.

The next victim could be you, drawn in by the allure of a sale, only to find yourself ensnared in a web of darkness and despair.
