Saved My House From Robbery

One day I was alone in my house. My parents were away from the house. I had had my lunch and was watching my favourite TV show. Suddenly , the door-bell rang. I came to open the door. There stood a sadhu ( like molvi or priest ). The sadhu told me that he had come all the way from Haridwar ( religious place ). He demanded bhiksha ( begging ).  I am a religious boy. I believed in charities.  I asked the sadhu respectfully to come into my apartment. I seated him formally in the  drawing room ( guest room ) and returned to get to the kitchen to serve him with some sweets along with water.

Just then that sadhu jumped up and hold me from behind. He took out a long knife and threatened to slay ( to kill ) me , if I tried to raise the voice. He demanded keys of the lockers. But I was not a boy to be  overpowered ( having greater strength or power ) so easily. I had learnt karate ( an oriental system of unarmed combat using the hands and feet to deliver and block blows , widely practised as a sport ) during my school days. Using my training , I took on that hypocrite sadhu bravely and in no time , he was flat on the ground. Then I bound the sadhu's hand and foot. I immediately called the police. Then I informed my family and neighbours.

They all rushed to my house and after some time police also reached there. The police arrested the sadhu.  They said that he was wanted by the police in some other such cases also. Everybody there admire me a brave boy. Next day , this news appeared in almost all the newspapers.
