Is it good to be poor and happy or sad and rich?

My experience in the simple joys of life would basically start with a simple thought when you were young you wanted a bicycle as your friend as you got them you were happy for maybe a week or two then you saw a friend with an electric toy scooter you got that too but you got bored of it soon enough. When you grow older you got yourself a bike but then you wished for a car, then for a luxurious car you got all of them but then you saw people having private cruises and jetS. You wished you also had the same life as them and regard yours as not good, but think about it, it also started with a bicycle, you wanted to be happy and thought a bicycle would be everything for you but at the end of the day you even disregard the things you own, it's a simple human behavior to get pleased by what other have and never get satisfaction we the things they own. In my story, the simple joys of life are not fiction but practical examples nicely woven and kept in front of you as a cloth that you always want to wear.

Simple joys of life can be related to nature daily household get-togethers, school activity classes, a simple praise can make your day! It is as simple as that, I feel joy when it rains I feel calm when surrounded by plants, I feel happy when the weather is good, and I feel happy when I get good grades happiness should not be limited to materialistic things it should be the mindset you look at things with, for instance, I got some new electronic device but it won't hold long. When I will stop feeling happy about it but think about a friend get together you had you will remember this for your entire life and would always be happy when you think about it.

Ramesh was a decent man who had nothing but a small mango stall in the village where he lived with his parents who were old and not in a good condition. He got just enough for them to have 2 meals per day but Ramesh was happy with what he had deep inside he always wished he could have a better life. Once Ramesh saw a rich man in the village with his nice luxury car and in a suit and all attitude Ramesh wished to be like that man. He thought maybe selling his mangoes outside the village would help him earn a bit more so he started selling mangoes outside the village. His condition become good enough to have 3 meals and save some profit, now Ramesh wanted more he wanted a house with a good bed so he started going to the city and his conditions improved more when Ramesh joined a fruit company but the thing was their they used artificial mangoes which were no good to health but Ramesh more than enough of the supplied mangoes to them and keep this a secret years later Ramesh was as rich as the man he saw in the village so many years back, but now things were different on one side his parents had a good life but he did not have the peace of mind some media exposed about the company frauds and now they lived under constant fear, Ramesh now thought how good his life was back in the village at least he had the peace of mind.

This all is actually a cycle of wanting more and more it's never-ending. Now answering the question is it good to be poor and happy or sad and rich well money brings happiness and poverty doesn't have it but it is one way to look at it poor maybe earn less but maybe he has peace of mind but we can't say that for those who have a large family to feed on the other hand if a woman lives alone a bungalow with all servants she doesn't have a family and feel depressive and sad, the simple answer is, Be happy in what you have and try hard to gain what you need and avoid all those extravagances and you will be just fine!.
