Staying stuck!

Dear diary, The roads all empty, the restaurants taking a break, birds are chirping in the sky, the dogs are still wondering about the homo sapiens in my colony. This is all I was noticing from my balcony because we are left with zero options! There suddenly my mom screamed from inside "Ayshaa!! Come down and make a cups of tea for us" I swear this cups of tea has started annoying me so much, "Ayshaa comes soon" my mom screamed, "Coming amma, have patience" I created Just as I took the teppan, someone knocked at my door and asking the jewelry stuffs to buy, I was in a complete shock, who is there in the lockdown selling jewels, seriously! I was all angry at first but after gaining Lil patience and maturity I went to see, It was actually a woman, With wrinkled hands, a bucket on her head and surprisingly was not with any mask or gloves. "Why are you selling these jewelers in this lockdown, don't you know how worst this pandemic is?" I asked panicking All she looked at me with her helpless eyes and said "madam please buy these jewelers, this is so beautiful, you will look good" "But this is not the answer of my question" I replied "Didi, I don't have enough money to buy gloves and mask" I went rushing inside and took some money for her, "Take this money with you and please take the precautions and do not come out" I expected some glitter in her eyes after seeing some money but honestly, the lady became sadder! "now that I am assuring you to give all your daily wage, you will be no more left hungry, Take care!"I said kindly as my moral science teacher always taught. She was still looking depressed I console and assure her again but there she uttered "Take this money back Didi, I have my own shop of artificial jewelers and have earned a good amount, I am not in a fear hunger" I was bit annoyed but before I judge her, she said "Yes, I was lying about my financial status but now that you seem to be a good girl let me tell you, everyone is talking about staying home and staying safe, trust me I was staying home but I was not safe,I was stuck" That hit me so hard "My husband and in-laws are torturing me every day, they abuse me every second in front of my children,I don't want to stay at home and is the reason I am coming out as a seller, I can't decide whether a COVID will kill me or the physical harassment." She added. "But why haven't you complain about this?"I asked The news, social media, police and almost everyone is talking about this pandemic and everyone is shutting there eyes on the issues of harassment, molestations, abuses, I can't decide "whether a virus in the air will kill people more,or virus in the minds will" As soon as she left, I felt lil grateful about having a good house, family and loved ones.. The women haven't told me about where she lives,where she was from, nothing,but she left an impact on me which made me to write this on a media platform to help people through this,let them share and feel free to ask for help,no media can cover the story of men or women suffering from abuses in the house..I pray everyone stays home and stay safe and hope no one stay home and stay stuck!
