 Peeked through the curtain of stars and smiled at the flowers

 Who will lift the veil of this queen of Roopnagar?

 Black locks on a fair face give such an image

 As if a snake is swinging on the moon!

 The beauty of this fair lady is shining in the milky saree.

 Like lighting a fire under the water stream!

 The moon is the chandelier and the stars are the flowers of her blouse.

 She is sitting in the sky, decorating her bed!

 We are the darkness of the earth and the plow of the sky

 Why did the darkness meet the light?

 This tradition of sweet union has come from birth to birth.
