The Agency

I, Amy Jones, was in my room watching a video when I got a call from an unknown number saying, "Hello, is this Amy Jones that I'm speaking to?" my curiosity got the better of me, and I replied, "Yes, this is Amy Jones but who are you may I know?". 

She told me that her name was Kate and she worked for the Agency. The name sounded suspicious to me, so I asked, "What is this Agency"? She said that the Agency was for women around the globe who had a keen eye and that it tracked down bad people and captured them to keep the world safe.

She said that the Agency was for people like me who are detectives as I am not just an ordinary girl, I am the best detective in my city, and I have solved every case that I have taken. 

Amy said that I got picked to join the Agency. I knew she wasn't lying to me as she sent me proof, "When do I start?" I asked, and she told me to meet her by the black lake at six sharp.

The time was 4:30, so I had 1 hour and 30 mins to prepare. I said ok and continued watching my video. At 5:30, I closed the phone screen, put it on the charge, and started to get ready.

By 5:50, I was ready. I took the phone and left the house; by 6, I was at the black lake with Kate. She said that she would train me for the next few days before I could meet the boss, luckily, summer break was long, and I had already finished my holiday homework. 

But soon enough, days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months, and before I knew it, months had passed with my training with Kate, and yet I still hadn't met the boss or seen the agency building with my own eyes.

So, one day I decided to ask Kate about it. "Hey, Kate."

"Yea?" she replied

"Did you say we were going to meet your boss, and why do we always train at the black lake?" I asked.

"Today is the day, and why do we train here? well, you're about to see". With a button tap, the Agency building came out of the water, and before I could say anything, she signaled me to stay quiet.

She started the tour of 5 floors which took about 30 minutes, but after that, we headed to meet the boss on the 6th floor. After passing five beds, we finally reached the primary office. Someone was standing outside the office (probably the assistant), "is she inside?" asked Kate.

"No, she's not. She's in a meeting which will be over in 5 mins. Come back then," the assistant said. We took a tour of the 6th floor in ten minutes and then met the boss. We entered only to see my best friend, "What are you doing?" I asked, "You said you wanted something fun to do during summer break" she continued, "You in?".

I said yes; since then, I have been working for the Agency.
