Hima was a 9-year-old boy who loved to talk and sing. He lived in the woods by a river in the most beautiful place called Chandanwadi. Tucked in the serene bylanes of trees and hills, Hima spent his time talking to the birds, sky and the squirrels. He had no friends of his age to play with. He did not go to school either. Looking at Hima spend his time alone, his mom made him a doll. A beautiful doll, with yellow woolly hair, pink cheeks, red lips, and a red checkered frock. Hima was full of joy to see the doll. He played with the doll, spoke hours with the doll, sang with the doll and would carry the doll everywhere he went.

One day while visiting another village market, all the boys laughed at Hima for carrying the doll. They said dolls were for girls and not for boys. They made fun of Hima. This made Hima upset. But he wanted everyone to know that dolls are for everyone to play with. He thought of an idea.

Hima went back to the village market and set up his stall. He called it "The Doll Magic"- You have any problem, The Doll will solve it. All the boys in the village were curious and wanted to know how the doll would solve their problem. Each one went inside the stall and spoke to the doll and Hima pretended that the doll would answer in his ears and would give the solutions to the problems.

Everyone was happy with the solutions they got and felt better after speaking to the doll.

Slowly the word spread and soon there would be a huge line outside Hima's Stall. People did not realize that it was only by speaking to the doll, they were venting out their problem that was in their heart and they felt so light after that. Hima's doll became very famous and all the children in the village wanted a doll of their own.

Every girl and boy played with the doll and were happy.
