The Christmas Gift

The sky is dark, the ground is white. Tomorrow is not the usual day, yes! It is Christmas the day for which I wait a year. I went to buy decorative items for Christmas tree, obviously today our school has been closed for the coming three days. I buy a bunch of lights with a large-sized plastic tree. With huge joy I huge my Grandpa who is well healthy who is just a decade more than half-century. I had a huge dinner my mom cooked for us though it's on my father's choice.

My Father is an Engineer at Technical service and my mother is all in one but only for my home. Today, I was making a list of wishes wanted by my parents. After adding mine I rushed to my Grandpa's room but what did I find? My Grandpa was sitting in his old but favoured rocking chair with face down and drowsy. I go near him to awake and ask about his wish but I stopped for a while and startled. I began "Why here tears on your face Grandpa? " He turned his face up and behaved as if he was not crying or sad at all rather he told it's all water came out of his eyes. But my heart knows about my Grandpa. I crossed "I know you are sad but you have to share me what's the matter is."

My Grandpa began with a sobbing face, "Oh! My dear child it's the story of my life. Whom I will share it? And whom with not? I and your Grandma send our money and energy over our sons to make their dream come true. But at last, they didn't care for us. It's about 10 years ago, when both of our Children divided the property it was debating for them to decide who will keep these old couple? At last they decide to separate us, one with the elder while others with the young.

So, oh! My dear son! Can you enlight my wish? I want my wife to be with me whom I didn't see since a decade ago." He stopped there with mouth-filling with water of eyes. I gave him a tissue and I get back to my parents.

A Few Days passed I was just thinking about how to bring them together? Then I had a plan, I called my Cousin Jennie and Jacky and told them everything. They both got startled and worked accordingly.

They behaved with their parents as if they would separate them in future just like they did my Grandparents. Like It's become a habit that my uncle and aunt has to sleep separately with their son and daughter respectively and whenever they would ask for reason both will get a strange reason the siblings will get separated from the preferred parent. Such kind of answer made a change in heart of my uncle and aunt and the result was very soon next week's door.

Next week they arrived at our home with my Granny. Both couples are together now. The misunderstanding between my father and my uncle was ended. Actually the main reason between the separation of both brothers was the quarrel between my mother and aunt but let it be. Now everything is extremely happy.

I can remember the face of my Grandfather on the day when he saw the face of her Golden lady. You can find the same facial expression on my Grandma's face too. Really! A miracle happens my Grandpa got what did he want as his Christmas gift. I hope I would bring that Christmas again in my Life.
