The Demon Brothers - Final Chapter

Y/N's BEDROOM

Y/N and Felix sat on the bed. Y/N was thinking that she will have to leave her friends, her school and many of her precious people and places. On the other hand, Felix was thinking on how to handle the situation because of this sudden decision he will again have to go to the head(the mother angel), inform her everything and plan about Y/N's future. "Brother please ask mother not to shift places. I don't want to leave my friends." requested Y/N with sad face. Her big does eyes glistened with tears and a cute pout on her face made her look like a cute little baby. Felix melted on her expressions, but the situation was out of his hands as he requested their mother many times but she just told that it was not possible as the arrangements were already done. Felix gave her a sympathetic smile, picked her up and made her sit on his lap. "Don't you want to make new friends?" he asked. Y/N nodded. He said, "You see baby, we might change places but that wouldn't change your friendship with your friends as you can always be in touch. Wasn't it you who told me, more the friends more is the enjoyment. Don't worry about your friends, you can call them anytime you miss them. Also, wouldn't it be fun to go to a new place and have many adventures like we had here?" Y/N thought for a moment and nodded her head while smiling. She said, "You are right. We'll go there and have adventures and have lots of fun!" She jumped on the bed and hugged Felix. He smiled and recommended to pack their bags.

MEANWHILE

IN THE DEVILDOM

At the House of Lamentation, the seven brothers who were smiling freely after a long time, there a sense of happiness was spread only because of one reason and it was Y/N. Satan said, "After so long I feel so happy." Asmo continued, "I know right! Who would have thought that all along it was her?" Everyone agreed. They felt as if their missing part in their hearts was filled up by Y/N's existence. The grief of losing their sister Lilith never left them but Y/N's arrival in their lives created a new hope for them. After today's interaction with her made them feel like the old times in the Celestial realm. Belphie said, "Today playing with Y/N felt as if I got my Lilith back." "Yeah, same here." said Beel. Mammon was sitting quietly carefully observing the bracelet which Y/N gave to them. Suddenly an idea popped in Mammon's head as he proceeded suggesting, "Let each of us buy one present for Y/N. She gave us bracelet as a symbol of friendship so we should also do the same for her." Everyone was impressed by his suggestion. Levi said, "Wow! I never imagined Mammon to say stuff like this. I guess he's not that stupid after all." Mammon got pissed off and said, "Yah! Have some respect I'm older than you." Everyone started laughing. Soon each one of them went to their rooms and started searching for a nice gift for Y/N. After sometime they all met again. No one was able to decide the perfect gift for her so together they made one.

THE NEXT DAY

Y/N's family left for USA early on the morning. Felix and Y/N were anxious but still they convinced themselves thinking this was another part of their journey. 

In the evening, the brothers were waiting at the park for her. They got the gift with them which they made with their heart. They waited and waited but she never came. They all were disheartened. They thought something might have come up so they left.

Everyday, in the evening, they waited for her with a hope in their heart that one day she might come. This felt like the wait which a lover would do for his/her love but this was different. The destiny had given them a chance of being happy but God had some other plans. 

Years went by, Y/N grew up becoming a smart, beautiful and a lovely girl. At the same time the brothers started losing their hope again. After a few days it was Y/N's 18th birthday about which she was really excited. 

IN USA, AT Y/N's HOUSE

Y/N's dad was reading the newspaper in the morning but suddenly he saw Y/N coming downstairs from her room to the living room where he was sitting. He kept his newspaper aside, smiled and said, "Good Morning Princess." Y/N smiled and greeted him back. She asked him, "Dad do you remember what is there after 4 days?" He thought for a second and answered, "I don't know. Is it Sunday? I would enjoy my holiday watching the football match then." Y/N got frustrated and looked the other way with an angry pout on her face. Felix came into the living room having an apple and said, "What happened? Why is my baby looking so angry?" Y/N replied, "Dad is teasing me." Her dad laughed and said, "I'm sorry my princess. I know it's your birthday." She was still angry at him. He said, "Fine then you only tell me what do you want for your birthday? I'll give you anything you wish for." She thought for a while and said "I want to back to our hometown. Even if it's for one day because I really miss everything and everyone there." Her dad and Felix looked at each other and smiled. He said, "I knew you would wish for this that's why I enrolled you in an university there. You looked sad and less cheerful here compared how you were back there so I thought this surprise would be the best gift for you." Y/N became so happy that she started jumping around the house and hugged her dad and said, "OH MY GOD! Dad this is the best gift ever!" Felix and her dad were laughing as well as cooing on her cuteness. "I guess you should start packing up your stuff because rest have been arranged for you, and your and Felix's flight is day after tomorrow." said her dad. She nodded knowing that her brother will always go wherever she'll for her protection but suddenly a shout was heard, "Breakfast's ready!" exclaimed her mom. 

AFTER 2 DAYS

Her friends, Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa came to pick them up from the airport as she told them about their arrival. She and her friends were really happy after meeting for such a long time. Even though they had video chats but still meeting personally was the best. They all went to their house to enjoy some time together. Y/N and her friends went to her room. Jisoo said, "Are you ready for the party tomorrow?" Y/N got confused and said, "Party? Which party?" Jisoo replied, "Rosé, didn't you tell her?" Rosé laughed nervously and said, "No, I forgot to inform her." Jennie said, "It's your 18th birthday tomorrow so to make it special we organized a party for you in the evening." Lisa added, "Yes and we'll have lots of fun so that we can make up the time we've been separated for." Y/N grinned. Rosé asked, "Well Y/N what is that on your wrist?" Y/N answered, "Oh! This is one of the friendship bracelets I made for us and some other friends when we were young but as we had to leave the next day I couldn't give them to you." She took out 4 bracelets and gave one to each of them and said, "These are for you. These bracelets are so special for me that I never take it off." They found the bracelets really cute and pretty. Like this they spent their whole day spending time with each other.

THE NEXT DAY, ON HER BIRTHDAY

Y/N woke up, freshened herself and went downstairs to see her brother cooking their breakfast which included all her favourite dishes. Felix saw her, hugged her and said, "Good Morning sweety. Happy Birthday!" She smiled and said, "Thank you so much brother." After their breakfast she said, "The food was delicious. Thank you for the food. Well, I had a request." He asked, "What is it?" She answered, "I want to roam around our neighborhood alone. I promise I'll come back soon. Please will you let me go?" Felix sighed thinking that he couldn't deny her as it was her birthday so he agreed. 

Y/N went to the park which was near her house. She remembered the brothers and missed them because they made her feel that she had 7 brothers to help her whenever she needed. While roaming she saw a young boy sitting on top of a man's shoulders disturbing the person. She went to him and said, "Why are disturbing him, huh? Children should listen to their elders." The man thought Y/N to be weird and thought she was making fun of him. He said, "What is your problem? You're making fun of me? Wait, I'll teach you a lesson." Y/N saw the boy laughing and she ran while the man was chasing her. She was running until she collided with a group of boys who were wearing masks. She said, "Could you please help me stop that person? I think there has been some misunderstanding." They looked at her and then at that man. One of them said, "You stop right there. Why are you following this young lady? Leave from here." The group of boys glared at him with glowing eyes which scared the young boy as he left the man and the man ran away being scared from them. They turned to Y/N and one of them asked, "Are you okay young lady?" Y/N nodded and said, "Thank you so much for helping me." They nodded. Y/N's bracelet caught the eyes of one of them as he said, "That's a pretty bracelet you have there." Everyone's attention went towards it and she replied, "Thank you. I made this friendship bracelet as a kid." Another one asked, "My apologies but is your name Y/N?" She answered, "Yes. Have we met before?" The group of boys looked at each other then pulled up their sleeves to reveal their bracelets and took off their masks. Y/N eyes widened with shock. It was the brothers who she missed for so many years.

"So we finally meet after so many years." said Satan. Everyone was emotional at the moment. Y/N said, "Yeah. Why don't you all come to my house? We can talk further there." They agreed. All of them came home. Felix saw the brothers with her and said, "Oh, hi there." They greeted each other and everyone settled themselves in the living room. Lucifer said, "Before we ask anything else may I know what actually happened back there?" Felix got tensed and said, "This something happen? Are you okay Y/N?" Y/N explained the whole situation. Felix understood the situation and said, "I think it's time to tell you the truth." Y/N was confused but she decided to listen to him further without asking any questions. He continued, "Y/N, you are an angel who was sent on this Earth to help people know their abilities so that no evil spirit could control them and hence they will directly be under the control of the grim reapers. I'm also an angel who was instructed to tell you about your capabilities and keep you safe till then. The boy which you saw earlier was an evil spirit that's why the man couldn't see him and thought that you were making fun of him." She was still confused not being able to process the information given. Felix kept his hand over her head and chanted a spell. She started gain her memories and powers back. Finally when she got stable she said, "Wow!...that was awesome." "Also, these 7 brothers you see right here are demons." Felix said. "Oh that explains why they look the same as they were years ago." She said. Everyone laughed and enjoyed their time together.

Y/N looked at the time and it was already evening. She said, "Brother, it's getting time." Felix looked at the clock and nodded. The brothers looked at the two confused. Y/N saw them and suggested, "Today's my birthday party. I'm turning 18 so my friends have arranged and I would be really glad if you all too joined this party." Asmo exclaimed with excitement, "Birthday! Party! OMG! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" Y/N laughed on his act and acknowledged him. The brothers agreed and everyone went to the party.

The party continued till late at night. The clock struck 12. Y/N and her friends were enjoying the party when she realized that her brother wasn't present there anymore. She came out of the room, followed by the brothers, and saw her brother sitting on the grass, gazing at the stars and tears flowed from his eyes. She towards him and sat beside him. She said, "Are the stars so beautiful that they got tears in your eyes?" Felix wiped his tears and looked at her with a smile. He said, "So many years passed swiftly that..." She asked, "That?" He said, "I didn't realize that you grew so much." She took his hands in hers and said, "I know you are hiding something from me. Tell me brother I'll listen." He looked down as again tears started welling up in his eyes and said, "Now you know about your true powers. My work here is done and now I shall leave you here." Y/N was shocked upon listening to him. She asked, "What? You mean right now?" Felix nodded. She couldn't even think that the person who she played with, made memories, always felt safe and the one who always supported her will have to leave her so suddenly. Her eyes got filled with tears and said while hugging him tightly, "No! You can't leave me like this! Please, don't leave me." She started sobbing. Felix gave a weak smile and said, "Hey, look at me. You are my brave girl right? You know I hate seeing you cry. Don't cry. You see, my job has finished and now it's time for me to go. It was destiny. If Mother Angel permits then we'll see each other again. Till then be my brave Y/N and do the job for which you were sent here. Make this place a happy and peaceful one. Now, smile." She smiled at him while crying and said, "I'll try my best brother." Felix was relieved and smiled at her while saying, "Good."

 The brothers who stood at a distance listening to them came near them. Lucifer said, "Don't worry. We'll make sure Y/N remains safe." Mammon said, "We'll always make her feel special and never leave her alone." Leviathan said, "She will never lack the happiness and fun in her life." Satan said, "We'll always support her." Asmodeus said, "We'll get her anything she wishes for." Beelzebub said, "We'll make sure she will eat well and stay healthy." Belphegor said, "We'll do anything for her like what you did." Felix was overwhelmed and said, "Thank you guys. Take care of my Y/N." They nodded. A bright light shone on Felix as he started to fade away. While leaving he said, "I love you, Y/N." Y/N replied, "I love you too, brother."
