The Five Spoons Of Salt

In a village of Kerala in India, there lived a small family. In this family, there were five people:-

1- The oldest grandmother.

2- Grandmother’s son - Ajeet.

3- Ajeet’s wife - Abha.

4- Eldest daughter of Ajeet and Abha - Lata.

5- Youngest daughter of Ajeet and Abha - Maya.

This family was a very happy family but Maya had a problem which was that if her mother used to tell her any work at home she used to forget it after a minute.

This story started when the little daughter Maya wanted to go to the school picnic and told her mother to make Idli and sambhar for her lunch as her mother made a really nice Idli and sambhar.

The morning of the picnic:-

Maya's mother told her to add some salt in the sambhar when it became hot and then she went with her friends to the market. When she was telling Maya about the salt, Maya’s elder sister, Lata also heard her words, and all the other people too heard her saying that.

This time Maya, without forgetting added the salt but all the other three thought that she had forgotten to add the salt and so added the salt. After them, when Maya’s mother came; she too thought that Maya didn’t add the salt and thus added one more spoon of salt.

Thus the sambhar had Five Spoons Of salt.

When Maya’s friends ate it, they did not like it and thus blamed Maya.

When she came home, they all revealed the mystery and realized that Maya's forgetting problem was the base of the problem.

Thus from then, she did not forget any of the home works.
