The Grateful Eagle

A shepherd, while grazing his sheep once, saw an eagle trapped in a net. He was so enchanted with the beauty of the bird that he let it go free. Some days later, the shepherd was sitting on a rock which was resting on the edge of a steep hill. All of a sudden an eagle swooped down upon his head and carried away his cap.

 

The shepherd ran after the eagle in great anger. But the moment he got up from the rock, it crashed down into the deep gorge. The shepherd was quick to realize that it was the same eagle whom he had set free a few days ago. The grateful eagle had try to repay its benefactor.

Hence, People must be like that grateful eagle.
