The Happiest Day of my Life

It was the day when I was travelling in the train. I and my family were going to our home town. In the train, we enjoyed a lot the journey. But at the last moment of my journey, I saw a very poor girl of maybe 9 or 10 years old, who handed a baby of 2 years old in his hands. She was shabby in appearance and was asking for food from one of the travelers. She was very hungry and the baby was crying loudly. I thought, the man will give some money or food to the girl, but it was very unforgettable moment for me to see that scene.

I saw that the uncle was busy watching the videos on his smartphone. He regretted the girl and moved away from her. After seeing that scene, my eyes were becoming full of tears. After asking the food from that man, the girl comes to me and asks the same. I offered her food and some amount of money to her. After taking the food and money, she moved away. My parents were happy to saw that scene and we came out of the train. After some minutes, when we were going out of the platform, I glared to see that the same girl to whom I had offered food and some amount of rupees, was sitting in the floor with some more girls and counting the money which they had taken from the travelers.

The baby, she had handed that time, was not there. By seeing that I was shocked and I told to my parents also. And when I asked that girl, she did not speak anything and rushed from there. Then from that time, I understood that whenever we travel on the train, if any person comes to us asking for money, we should see their condition. If they are disabled, then only give money to them otherwise don’t give. This was the happiest and also the funniest moment for me in my life.
