The Heart Knows - Part 2

Bhoomi was now a top-notch journalist in her niche. Over the years, she had developed herself into a valued and talented employee in her organization. As her result of her achievements, the management assigned her to cover a classified military mission in Japan looking into the cause of a catastrophe in a Japanese prefecture.

Upon arriving in Japan, Bhoomi discovered that settlement that had been affected by the chemical catastrophe was now a barren land, where at once river flows and people used to utilize the water for domestic needs. Alas, due to change in weather conditions and other factors, now it has become barren and people living in surrounding areas have migrated to urban areas. This land was a perfect place to carry out new developments and research which do not harm the society.

The current tender was given to an Army officer, Shuchain, who was leading his team. He was commissioned to build cyborgs from skeleton, (which would appear and behave like humans) and bodies of fallen soldiers. He had a commanding force in his character that makes him to settle his work either by hook or by crook. Every individual of the team was working on some and other research for this. Bhoomi was curious about the amazing and unique perspective that she is involved into.

She was taking a look at different research and suddenly, she felt a kind of pinch on her body. This happened unintentionally by one of the troop while testing a skeleton. A drop of liquid just poured on her body. She started feeling itching and was just going to the head that the team of Super heroes approached her to check what has happened. They were a team of five members (Rosh, Rubin, and Klein).

Rosh: A tall and smart member with layered cut hairs.

Rubin: A strong and handsome charm of their team having wavy hairs.

Klein: Known as technical expert and strategic planner with straight hairs.

The girl in gang of Superheroes, Rosh, saw it and cautioned her to take an anti-dose before it spreads on her entire body. They started walking towards the medical room, which was located at a height. While they were following her, a wild sheep was just running towards them and she alert Bhoomi to move aside. Bhoomi quickly jumped and moved on the wall lying on her left side. The team of Superheroes were interacting with Bhoomi and were also telling about their involvement and work in the team.

While they were about to reach the medical room, they heard loud voices of the Army unit. With their sixth sense, they guessed that it might be due to the wild sheep that there might a problem.

Rosh told to all members including Bhoomi: “Let’s hide in the bushes and spread the grass over ourselves to protect us until morning. In the morning, we will decide to move to some other safer place.”

Bhoomi was a kind of person who had dreams about superheroes and intuitions of forthcoming events. She was sharing her dreams with a handsome hero, Rubin, of the team but Rosh did not believe her stories. She asked the team members that they will take a train from here and will move to some other place, which will be far away from this place. Also, they had a fear that the Army Officer would be searching for them as they were involved in his mission.

But the team of Superheroes didn’t want to be part of this mission, as they had to be with his other missions as well which were not in the favor of public. The next mission was about growing crops with chemical and within a fraction of seconds. They were all boarding the train and eventually, Bhoomi was taken back to her one of intuition where she saw that she was boarding a yellow coloured toy train and will get down at a cemented street lane. She shared this with Rubin. Rubin started smiling at her but later they dropped at the same location which she told him. She glimpsed at him and reminded him about her intuition which made him to believe on her. Though they reached another location but it wasn’t completely safe for them.

So they all decided to move to Tokyo as it is a flooded place and congested with people where the Officer would not be able to track them. They started running from one location to another and reached their decided destination, which was far and far away from the thinking of him. Side by side the team was making a strategy using the plan of Klein to break the corrupted plans of the Chief and make people safe from chemical products. Everyone was performing their research and duty in this.

On other hand, Bhoomi was thinking over “How did I get stuck in this route? When will go back to my own safe place, Mumbai? Will I be able to move out of this or not?” These were some of the thoughts daunting her mind. In the meanwhile, Rosh asked her and one of new comer of the team to go outside and get some food plus groceries for them.

The team divided their work and now had to execute with their plan. Every night the team of superheroes along with the journalist went to the place where the Army chief carried the test to check how they can make his deadliest mission as IMPOSSIBLE. Bhoomi played her role as a journalist to capture all the scene which can used for their proof.

They started from one place where the Chief sowed seeds by the chemical and went away so that when he came in morning, every seed will sprout out and he will be able to earn a lot. They made an antidote by collecting the samples of it and poured it at night. The three attempts were failed of the Chief which made him to think about the failed possibilities and he was really frustrated. Pondering over this, one day, he stood there, hiding behind the bushes to see why the plan had failed and he got the reason for his failure.

When the team started their work, he attacked them and anyhow the superheroes rescued themselves from the Chief’s trap. Then they decided to work on their Plan B, where they will be using their super powers to save the land from being contaminated. They had a small team which had to face a large troop of Army with advanced features.

On the next night, they hide at the location but with their core strength and powers, they were all dis-injecting the chemical injected to every seed. Along with this, they informed the government bodies and authorities to be hidden aside so that they will be able to show real face of the Chief to everyone and save people lives. Besides their super powers, they had to face cruelty of the Army troops as they built a strong team with local people, which were injured, but this saved many lives.

Bhoomi felt relief and while on her way back, she got a call from her father as he was following her since he saw her in the supermarket but was unable to talk to her. Inside her mind, she felt so happy that there is someone is thinking about her as she has no one too close left with her. And narrated all what happened with her.

She moved to her place, Mumbai, saw a couple of notes, and letter which were left none other than her husband-Aarav. There were notes of apologies with all the reasons to start their life afresh.
