The Last Help

Story under the "Tales of Rainagar".

And crying. Then Rahul came and told something to Umesh. Umesh hugged Rahul and started crying more.But what did Rahul tell Umesh?

This story starts with a pen.

For this, a few months go back.

April 2019

Umesh was sitting in his class.

All the kids were screaming. Because there was no teacher in the class.

Sitting next to him, Rahul was doing his class work.

The examples of friendship between them in the whole class

After a while the teacher came.

And an announcement was made.

"All the children will pay attention, you all know that some days before some students have come to our school from one of the rainagar school which is indifferent class . In the same way class 11th students will join with our class. Everyone will be friends with him. Because they are joining in the middle of the session everyone will help them."

Some of their names were as follows:

Nikita 

Raj 

Vishal 

Prachi

Ritu

Yash or ramesh

Everyone came to the classroom one by one and the class monitor Akhilesh showed everyone their place.

Umesh and Rahul had nothing to do with all this. They didn't even look.

Because he was making a comic on the back of his maths notebook.

Then came the sound of the pen falling. Pen stopped near Umesh's feet. He picked up the pen.

woh turned back and that's how they met. Prachi and Umesh.

Seeing Prachi, he forgot about giving the pen. and was looking at him. Prachi was also thinking while blinking her big eyes, what is he doing?

With the sound of "hello" his dream was broken.

"Oh yes" umesh replied

"My pen" she asked

''Yeah it is " he answered

Umesh was friends with Prachi the day before. 

Now it was April's classes, which the children were facing like heat. Nobody wanted to read. But they were trying.

Umesh was helping his new friend as he started liking her.But Prachi's focus was on Akhilesh

Now it's summer break

And got a lot of homework from school too.

Umesh was more concerned about Prachi's homework than completing her homework.He used to go to the Central Library of Rainagar in the afternoon to answer the assignments even during the summer days. The library used to be empty, of course because of the summer.

 Despite so much heat, Umesh was sitting there looking for the answer, within 1 week he had taken all the answers.He gave the answer to Prachi.

And Prachi to Akhilesh.

Umesh didn't know anything about this!

Schools were reopened after 45 days.

Umesh had now become Prachi's best friend. Which he didn't want.

Prachi asked "can i tell you something"

Umesh replied "yes , why not"

"I think i like ... Akhilesh"she tell with a cute smile on her face.."he is such a kind boy" she completed

Well, time was running out. But Umesh was completely stopped after hearing this. Or maybe it was broken. He turned to the other side and ran towards the house. Ignoring Prachi's voice. which was too much for 300 metres.

He did not come out of the room even till the time of eating while his favorite bhindi curry was cooked.

There were tears in his eyes all night. As if someone is making a drawing in his heart with a knife.

Next day.....

There was sleep in his eyes. Prachi standing near the school gate was visible to him from afar. Perhaps Umesh had decided in the night. What was to be done next?

As soon as Umesh came, Prachi asked "Where did you go yesterday?"

Umesh said without any reaction "there was some urgent work"

Speaking this he got lost in the time of last night when he had decided "Now I am Prachi's friend, I will help her till my last breath, always."

Prachi said, "I am going to tell everything to Akhilesh this evening."

Umesh stepped forward and said, "Okay."

Somehow that day came to an end. And tough times started for Umesh.

Rahul reached the banks of the rainagar pond on his bicycle. Where Umesh was sitting crying. Rahul also put a stone on his heart and said "he has done yes brother"

Or Umesh hugged Rahul and started crying.

Next day Rahul and Umesh did not come to school. Prachi came to know that both of them have taken admission in another school, she was also in misery now. Because her best friend had changed school without telling her. But whenever Prachi got help in school, she used to get it somehow. Nobody knew how. Or the students who helped him also got things from "someone".
