There was a village named Rudauli. There used to be a Pandit named Hari Shankar, the Pandit had a good name in the city. When people had any problem or any auspicious work was done, then people used to remember him only.

A Day

Panditine: Hey listen, these people donate so much food to you, then why do you go to the city and sell it to others.

Pandit ji: Hey, these people are fools, they accept everything I say as correct and keep looting money from me in a mad way.

Panditine: But this is wrong, isn't it? If people ever come to know, they will lose faith in religion.

Pandit: Nothing like this will ever happen, I have full faith on these people, and I will never allow any Pandit to come to this village again.

Panditine: If you feel so then fine but I still tell you stop fooling these people and understand GOD's will.

Pandit: Don't give me much knowledge, mind your own business, you are getting good clothes to wear and good food to eat.

That sly pundit was running good governance in the village. Time passed.

One day Shyam was returning from the city when he saw a monk and went and told the chief.

Shyam: Chief uncle, there is a sadhu baba sitting outside under the tree.

Chief: Who is that son, did you ask him, we should go and find out about him.

Pandit ji also got scared after hearing that what the chief was sitting at that time.

Pandit (in his mind): If these people go there and bring that monk to this village, then I should stop them lest I lose my ownership.

Pandit ji: Chief, you know that it is the custom of our village that we do not allow any outsider to come to our village, then why should we go to meet them and yes, most of the sadhus are thugs.

Chief thought for a while

Mukhiya ji: Yes, Pandit ji, you are right, okay let that monk sit there, he will go away on his own after a few days.

Pandit ji started telling bad things about those sadhus to the people.

A Day

Shyam (to his wife): Listen, when I come back from the city, I see a Sadhu Maharaj outside under the tree, no one in the village likes him, you do one thing, cook some food for him too.

Roopmati (Shyam's wife): But we don't have to complete the food ourselves, from where can I cook food for them too.

Shyam: No problem, God will give us from somewhere or the other.

A Day

Shyam: Maharaj, I have brought food for you.

Sadhu: No one son, you thought so much for me, God will definitely do good to you.

Now it had become a routine, whoever came out of the village used to call the sadhu a reverse orator and, in the evening, also reverse.

A Day

Saint: Son, you have been helping me since so many days, I give you a mantra, whenever you go out of the house in the morning for any work, chant that mantra and your income will be good.

Shyam started doing the same and slowly all his troubles got over.

Like you, this thing spread in the village too that suddenly the days of the evening changed.

Seeing this, some people of the village started serving the monk.

Shyam: Maharaj, these people used to treat you so badly, still why do you help them.

Sadhu: Child, what will happen if we give you a gift and you do not take it?

Shyam: Then he will stay with me

Sadhus, whatever these people used to call me or whatever behavior they used to do with me, I did not take that thing, so all the bad things remained with them and God has made us to serve the people, so we have to serve them. You should continue to do service.

When the Pandit saw this, he felt that now he would have to leave this village because people had started going to the shelter of the sage.

Pandit: Pandit, give me dinner early from this evening, I will go somewhere at night.

Panditine: where will you go at night

Pandit: You don't need to know this, just do as much as you are told.

After a few days, a strange disease spreads in the village, all the children of the village get fever and their health starts deteriorating.

Chief: Pandit ji, what kind of disease has come in our village, I can't understand anything.

Pandit ji: Go, chief, ask that monk of yours, this disease has come in our village since a few days after he came.

Mukhiya ji: Forgive me Pandit ji, I have put faith in that monk, please save us from this trouble.

The same night Mukhiya ji was walking on the roof of his house upset, when he saw that Pandit ji was going towards the field, he immediately got down and started following Pandit ji, after some time he saw that Pandit ji had stopped at one place. After that what Mukhiya ji saw, his eyes were left torn.

Chief: This Pandit is very dangerous, he uses Tantrik Vidya.

Here the pundit was reciting some mantras in his mind and was saying which village should be my empire.

The chief went to Sadhu Maharaj the next day.

Sadhu: Don't worry child, I will go to the same place tonight and cure this pandit.

The same night when the Pandit again went to that field to do Tantrik Vidya, only then

Sadhu: Stop, wicked, now you will not be able to do any harm to their people.

Pandit: Foolish monk, I know you are a true monk, but you
