Of all the places she could be, Rita was stuck in her house having nothing to do. She soon became hungry and decided to ask her sister, Gita, to take down the snacks box. Gita was reading a book on her ebook reader. Rita asked her what she was reading. “Gita said I am reading a story called ‘The Apple.” Rita then asked Gita to take the food basket from the top shelf. Gita did so, and to their astonishment, excitement, and horror, there was a silver dagger with a picture of Shesha, the serpent with seven heads in Indian mythology.

The sisters decided to take the dagger to their village house at Vrindavan, a town located in the Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh in India. The next day they were off to take a train from Mumbai to Vrindavan. Their uncle Rohit picked them up from the train station. When they reached his home they met their cousin Sanai. They soon got bored and decided to go into the old abandoned house, where they used to play. The room was empty except for a table with a half-read copy of the book Gita was reading ’The Apple’! ”Strange,” Gita said, “This was never there before.” Suddenly Rita noticed something carved into the wall. The sisters had told Sanai about the dagger and she recognized it as Shesha. And under the picture of Shesha, there were four holes, just like the four sharp blades on the dagger! Rita took out the dagger from her bag and slid it into the four holes.

What happened next nearly made them feel crazy! A brick in the wall split in half; revealing a small chamber with the most dazzling, amazing and brightest thing they have ever seen! A single shining golden apple was hidden inside! The girls were speechless. They showed it to their parents and then kept it back where they found it.
