THE PRINCESS AND HER LONGING FOR LOVE


Once upon a time, there lived a king named Raja and his princess named Daisy in a huge castle. The castle was built in the shape of a diamond and it was engraved with sculptures that are decorated with stones of diamond. Behind the castle, there was a beautiful garden that belonged to the king's palace. Princess Daisy was a gorgeous girl with sparkling eyes, eyebrows like a bow with long browny curly hair. King Raja had concentrated more on his work as a king and he had not spent time with his daughter. He thought that Daisy as a princess she had got everything and he thought she will be happy with that.

But the princess from her young till now she lived lonely in her chamber. And there was no one to show love to her. She didn't have any friends because she was a princess in the castle, no one like to see her as a friend everybody saw her as a princess and gave respect to her. Her life is only inside the chamber and her only companion was her drawing and singing. Whatever she thought, she converted her thoughts into a drawing. Her drawings were mostly reflected her longing for her father's love and her loneliness. She sing songs melodiously and she also loves singing. Her life has gone in the same way no changes had happened. So she felt bad because none of them cared. She thought her father, as a king he had done his responsibilities very well but as a father, he didn't his responsibility. Days are gone.


Later one fine day, she heard a very pleasant song. She searched for the person singing through her window but she couldn't find anyone because she didn't come out of her chamber. But she knew one thing that the song was sung by a man and that she found through the voice. The voice touched her heart and she admired his song. Every day evening she heard a song that song was sung by the same voice. Thereafter the princess was eagerly waiting for the evening because she loved the man's voice and while she heard his song she felt delighted. Later she had fallen in love with his voice and the unknown man. She thought she wanted to see that man but she couldn't. But she was very curious to know the man. 

One day the servant girl had come to the princess chamber. Suddenly, Princess Daisy got an idea, and she asked for help from the servant girl, and she was not only a servant girl but she was a trustworthy companion of the princess. The servant was ready to help her. She asked her to find who is singing and where the voice comes from. And also she said to her, you may go in the evening time because the voice comes only in the evening. The girl said to the princess, "surely, I will find and say to you". Meanwhile, the princess was very happy that she is going to know about the voice and who was behind that.


At the night, the girl came with the dinner for the princess. After looking at the girl princess was very happy and she asked her eagerly about the voice who had sung the song in the evening time behind the castle. The girl replied that she found the man. He was a woodcutter who had been worked behind the castle, the place where the beautiful garden was located. And she also described the man how he looks, to the princess. The princess had started to draw his picture in the way the girl described it. After the princess completed her drawing she showed her drawing to her servant and asked her If this picture looks like him. The girl replied she had drawn perfectly how the man was looked. Princess tried to convey her love to the woodcutter so she had planned. She had written her favorite songlines of his song. And she requested her friend to hand over this drawing to the woodcutter. She left the princess chamber. The next day the girl met the woodcutter and she hands over his drawing which was drawn by the princess. The woodcutter had opened the drawing and he had surprised to see his drawing and he was shocked. He was eager to know about who had drawn him. The next day woodcutter sings a song that had been written in the drawing and also he revealed his opinion about the drawing through his singing. The princess knew that the woodcutter opinions through his song. So the princess decided to meet the woodcutter. And she also met the woodcutter with the help of her servant. Princess disguises herself as a servant and she met the woodcutter. She had revealed her feelings to him. But the woodcutter hesitated to accept the princess's love because she was a princess in the castle and he was a servant in her castle. So he asked her how it will possible if the king knows about their love everything will be miserable.

She said him that she was not happy being a princess. She lived her life lonely and longing for love. She just wanted his love and she wished to live her remaining life with him after her word's he understood her feelings and he also confessed his love for her. She convinced him that she will be convincing her father if he was not accepted their love. She also replied that she will reveal their relationship to her father on her birthday because he will accept whatever she asks on her birthday.


Princess's birthday came; she said her wish to her father that she wanted to marry the woodcutter. The King had refused her wish and he said to her daughter, "you are the princess of this country so you should not marry this poor woodcutter". He said to her daughter that he had decided her daughter's marriage with his neighbor country Prince to rule his kingdom next to him. The princess refused her father's decision and she said she wished to marry the person who cares for her rather than who rules the castle. She wanted to marry the person who cares and loves her more than his life. And she also said that she had lived her life like a princess but she didn't get any love and happiness in her life and also she lived her life longing for love and loneliness. She just wanted to live her life as a poor woodcutter's wife because she thought that life only gives happiness to her. She had left the castle with her better half and started to live her life happily being a woodcutter's wife.
