The Sunder Dam Picnic

Fr. Charles Tudu SJ was the hostel director when the hostel boys had first been told that we would go for the picnic to Sunder dam . But due to some unseen circumstances the plan had got cancelled and we had gone to the nearby Betona dam.

The plan of Sunder dam picnic became a success when Fr. Sameer Tigga SJ was the hostel director. We had to go by bus . It took us about 5 hours to reach the dam. The special persons who were there along with us were Fr. Charles SJ and Miss Matilda Tudu. As soon as we reached the wonderful dam . Everyone started enjoying. Some took bath ,some clicked photos and some started playing games. But I was involved in none of the activities. I was there near the 'kitchen department ' trying to help out by every way I could. Fr. Charles SJ noticed me . He came and told me that it was quite inspiring that I was helping out in spite of having fun that others had.

When we returned from the picnic Fr.Charles SJ said the mass. During the homily, Fr. spoke about my activities and said that I was the example for everyone one to follow. I felt even better when we had come out of the chapel. There we were wishing on another and we had gathered around Fr. Charles SJ then Ajit, a junior said " Fr., Henry is an all rounder. He studies well. He is well mannered. He is good at playing football. He is quite inspiring and helps everyone. " I had inspired my juniors and I myself had got inspired by the appreciation that I had received.
