Today's Cursed Duryodhana And Their Parents

    I was on the chair half asleep. I am a retired person of sixty-two years, and to put it right, I am such a useless thing, which is neither of any use nor liked by anyone.

             Today's cursed Duryodhana also has a strange story. They bring their old parents with them from the village to the city because of public shame or their compulsion. But they are not able to mix with their parents.

          This helpless Duryodhana tries to mix with their parents, but their wife does not allow him to succeed.

           Firstly, the appearance of these elderly people gets very bad. These old parents look very bad sitting in a corner of the expensive drawing room. Secondly, neither Duryodhan likes to live with them, nor does like to eat, nor does like to sleep. In the eyes of Duryodhan and his wife, these old parents are illiterate. They are not fit to live in an educated society. These foolish old parents think that they are helping their children by staying here. These old parents do come to Duryodhan's house, but they do not get any respect and they have to forget their honor and live with grief. The face of his son and his wife swells up on seeing these old men. These poor old men try their best to make sure that their son and his wife remain happy and Duryodhan does not suffer due to their behavior, but these Duryodhana are very cruel. They are bad manners. There is no such thing as sanskar inside them. 

        You people must also be thinking about how Duryodhana got cursed. I find two characters in the Mahabharata very pathetic. One Dhritarashtra and the other Gandhari. Both the sons were infatuated. Dhritarashtra was blind and his son was infatuated, that's why he got nothing but failure in Mahabharata. But Gandhari's character is great. She is such a woman who curses Lord Krishna's dynasty to be destroyed by her penance. 

            If she wanted, she could have blessed Duryodhana with victory or at least blessed him with Amrita. but he did none of these.

           Despite repeatedly insulting his mother Gandhari and not listening to his mother's advice, when Duryodhana is completely disappointed, then he misses his mother, and he feels that now the only support is his mother. And only Gandhar can give him victory. Duryodhana goes to his mother Gandhar and asks for the blessings of Vijayashree. But Gandhari refuses to give him the blessings of Vijayashree because of his deeds.

           Gandhari was a mother and a mother's heart is strange. Gandhari wanted to give him the boon of immortality. Gandhari asked Duryodhana to come naked the next day, which was not possible due to Krishna's mischief.

          Gandhari was a great ascetic. She knew what would happen in the future. I believe that Gandhari did not want to bless Duryodhana from the heart. If Gandhari wanted to bless Amrita, she could have done so at the same time. She would not have asked him to come the next day.

          Today, we are getting news that a large number of these so-called Duryodhana are humiliating their old parents and troubling them. All this became the reason for his downfall.

        It is my request to the youth of today, at least like Duryodhana, do not hurt your parents' hearts. Otherwise, they will be deprived of blessings and never will be able to get happiness and peace.
