War: The Clash With Criminals.

ACP Vimal IPS, an honest and ruthless encounter specialist based in Hyderabad, has been brutally attacked and injured and is left on the banks of the Godavari river. Vimal thinks about his beginning career as an IPS officer when he was 23 years old and how he faced obstacles and opposition from his strict family members, who were all stiffly against Vimal's wish.

"Come on getting up…Get up from your injuries," said Vimal…

Vimal has been rescued by some group of peoples who, all takes him to a hospital and gets him treated. One of the investigative journalists named, Shankar comes in-order to learn about the attacks on Vimal…

To answer his questions, he requests to him, that he might tell him from the beginning of his career as an IPS officer to the present situations to which, the journalist accepts.

"It has all has happened unexpectedly…No one could have expected this worse situation as a police officer…Even when I was in training, I didn't face much pain, agony, and fears. But, only after my postings, I was able to realize the main problems in my career…" said Vimal.

"Sir. Where was your first posting?" asked Shankar.

"First posting was given as the ASP of Coimbatore district under Crime Branch. Later, I had been posted as the ACP of Bangalore under the Narcotics branch and after that, my posting was transferred to Hyderabad" said Vimal.

"As of your experience, which state was your harsh lesson or a turning point sir?" asked Shankar.

"I don't have a clear answer to this. But, with the so far incidents, my frank answer is Hyderabad. This one particular place is a harsh lesson for me." Said Vimal.

"What makes you say like this, sir?" asked Shankar.

"The pains which I have undergone in Hyderabad, is the main reason which makes me give a reply like this," said Vimal.

Shankar remains silent and Vimal now continues to tell about his Hyderabad police life starting from his early life.

Vimal's father, Adhikesavan, is a retired private company employee and he is a very strict and honest person, who is adherent to his principles and ethics. Just because of such a nature of Adhikesavan, he made so many rival peoples in his company and he doesn't take it as a point for his way to success.

However, when he learned that Vimal wishes to join IPS, he stubbornly opposed his point of view and instead asked him to choose the second option to join the Indian Army, which proves to be even more worsen when compared to IPS.

Just to console his strict and vigilante father, Vimal reluctantly agrees but, he began to study for UPSC examinations and worked hard for it secretly other than his works in NCC when he was in the college days. Vimal after the completion of his final year appears for the IPS exams and he tops the overall state of Tamil Nadu.

After the selection in physical tests, Vimal is eventually taken to Dehradun for IPS training, where he needs to bear the cold winters and hot summers, since the place is a snow-capped field and it's quite difficult for the South-Indian peoples, initially.

Initially, the Senior Police officers severely punished Vimal and his other friends for being late and indiscipline and it is quite challenging for them to cope with these challenges…But, later they manage to finish up the training, and Vimal is given a gallantry medal for his irredeemable service in the National Police Academy for one year…

Vimal was posted as the ASP of Coimbatore district, at the beginning and on seeing Vimal as an IPS officer, his father disowns him and is very furious at him initially. However, seeing how his son has changed after going into the NCC, he realizes his mistakes and later on, reconciles with his son.

Since Vimal's honesty was not appreciated by his senior Police officers and the local politicians, he is again transferred to Bangalore where, for the first time, he is involved in encounters and he was widely regarded as the "Encounter specialist" and "Merciless youngster."

Soon after, Vimal is put as a teammate consisting of, Hari, Akash, Joseph, and Irfan. Like Vimal, those four police officers are also honest and sincere, who wants the city to be peaceful. Over the years, these five police officers were popular in the police department.

The main reason for these five people's bravery and fierce nature is, "They don't have any family or relatives and they can act to their wishes, while the other police officers, who have a family will fear or think to make a step."

Vimal often used to say to his five friends about his mentor, a retired DGP of Mumbai, and Adhikesavan's friend Narayana's words: "You as a youngster, can do. Execute what you wish. You can do it. As far to my experience, I have done 15 investigations and one became a failure…Department may watch your moves every time…Often to remember yourself that, when you bring down any criminals, their primary target will not be you…But, your honesty and the loved ones"

However, these words are often not accepted by his teammates and Vimal himself, who is unable to accept these words prior to his blind ambition and fire to catch a place in the police department as the top 10 police officers in India.

While these police officers are planning for these, there entered a ruthless gangster and terrorist, Alauddin Muhammad Khan, a ruthless smuggler in Mumbai. Since, he is born into a poor family, Alauddin took up the smuggling business at the age of 10, and slowly, he picks up to become a gangster when he was 18 years old. Later periods, at the age of 20 to 22 years, he became a ruthless mafia leader and began to dominate the entire Mumbai after gaining the places of South and Northern parts of Mumbai.

Politicians and Bollywood actors too were controlled by Alauddin, and Police officers too, are under the control of Alauddin. However, due to the transfer of one particular police officer named, DCP Raghav Krishna from Chennai, Alauddin's entire crime Syndicate is brought down and he too was arrested on one fine day.

He had been arrested after a gap of 10 long years, which the other police officers failed to do while DCP Raghav had done it…A man who committed multiple crimes like Dacoits, Kidnappings, Murders, and rapes had been now arrested. Later, on the 30th day, Alauddin escaped and the entire Mumbai district got panicked at his escape since, when he is out at any time and at any cause, their life will be under threat either by bomb blasts or by other means of attacks.

Raghav's entire family gets killed by Alauddin's men, while Raghav is alone spared since, according to the plan of Alauddin, Ragav alone should be spared so that, no police officers would neither take action nor think of it when they remember the life of Raghav as a police officer.

Alauddin later seeks to Hyderabad through the sea to Vishakhapatnam, from where he shifts to Hyderabad via. Vijayawada NH4. Here, there comes Alauddin's elder brother, Javed Ibrahim, who is targeted by Vimal and his teammates as per the plans of the Police departments. To bring down Hyderabad on their control, Alauddin makes a plan to hatch a bomb-blasts for the temples of Tirupathi and Badrachalam.

Alauddin wishes to dominate both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh through these plans and on learning the motives of Javed Ibrahim and his terrorisms, Vimal's senior police officer had asked him to perform an encounter against these criminals.

Vimal and his teammates plan to catch Javed Ibrahim and get him killed when he comes to get money from a man, whose son he had kidnapped and after he plans to exit the place, Vimal and his team surrounds Javed and they brutally finish him off…Thus, there got an end of Javed's reign of terror…

However, Alauddin is still alive and he vows to finish down the families or close peoples related to Vimal and his teammates before he can proceed to execute his plans. First, Alauddin kills the Senior police officer of Vimal, because of whom, he had lost his brother…Later, Alauddin kills the boy and his entire family, including his father, since they never feared for him…

Now, Alauddin calls Vimal, to whom he challenges that, a big bomb blast will occur in the states of both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh and slowly, his teammates will also be killed one by one as a tribute for Javed's death. As per the first target, Alauddin goes to Irfan's house where, he brutally finishes him off and on seeing the brutal death of Irfan, Vimal and his teammates go frustrated and angry, since Irfan had so many dreams of coming to the police department and they are dejected to do a duty, which becomes a mistake for the criminals.

Vimal holds himself responsible for the death of his teammate and he decides to protect at-least his four other teammates while the Andhra Pradesh Police department who are feared for the safety of the state sends a few of their police teams to Telangana in-order to assist them in their mission and investigation…

While Vimal was with Hari, Joseph and Akash and Alauddin comes to Vimal's house, where he brutally attacks Vimal and kidnaps Akash from the place, since Akash was his close friend from the joining of Vimal to the police works…Joseph admits to Vimal that, he has been left with no way since, his wife Catherine was kidnapped by Alauddin and he threatened me to follow his rules and hence, he did it so and Joseph apologizes to Vimal…

Later, after hearing these statements, Shankar realizes that "More than the journalists, it's the Army and Police officers, who face more challenges and obstacles in their every day journey of life with the clash against the criminals"

Alauddin asks Joseph, Vimal, and Hari to come to Bhimavaram district in Andhra Pradesh, where they had kept Akash as a hostage, and makes Vimal go into a dilemma. He asks him either to save the Tirupathi temple or Akash and further tells that, "If he wishes to save Tirupathi temple and Bhadrachalam, then Akash will be sacrificed when he chooses to save Akash, then Tirupathi and Bhadrachalam will be blasted"

Left with no way, Vimal decides to first save Akash and with the permission of his senior police officers, he gets the necessary Arms and guns for tackling the gangs of Alauddin, since they had to finish what they started. However, Vimal at this point of time, realizes that there seemed to hear some sounds when Alauddin told and he realizes that, it's the trap of trick that, Alauddin had played in-order to confuse Vimal and Vimal analyses that, Alauddin has planned to make blasts once after the death of his teammates…

Before their arrival, Alauddin sends a severed head of Catherine's to Joseph, who after seeing Catherine, commits suicide out of guilt thus, shattering Vimal…Vimal and his teammates later, goes into the hideout of Alauddin where his teammates finish off the gangs of Alauddin and they surrounds the place…

Having been surrounded by all the cops, Alauddin shoots Akash in-order to divert Vimal and Akash dies in the arms of Vimal telling him that, "He dies for the welfare of this nation." An enraged Vimal, later on, has an violent fight with Alauddin in the Riverbanks of Godavari and asks him to speak with him, since all had died except Hari…

Vimal further tells Alauddin to look into his dead henchmen and tells him that, "He had done all these things just for one man…Javed Ibrahim and for other reason is to gain power by forming a destruction…"

"Javed is just a thrash and he has to be killed, which is good for the places…Just for him, you came…I will kill you…If anyone come for this country's destruction they also will be killed by me," said Vimal and he brutally finishes off Alauddin remembering, how he killed all of his teammates brutally… and cries for five minutes until he is consoled by his only left teammate Hari…

Five weeks later, Hari and Vimal are transferred to Thiruvananthapuram district and as they are preparing to exit from the place, a film director Sakthivel Vasudevan comes to meet Vimal and he wishes to make a Police film based on his life and the latter too reads his script and becomes impressed.

However, the director doesn't know to name the title and hence, had come to discuss with Vimal. Vimal asks the director to name the film, War and when the director asks him the reason, Vimal tells him that, "His career began as an encounter specialist and this name took him to an extent to learn a harsh lesson, due to which he had lost his closest teammates" and Vimal asks the director to dedicate his film to all those sincere police officers……

Later, Vimal and Hari board the Shatabdi express where, Hari takes the photo, the one which was the last with his teammates, which also includes Vimal.

However, Vimal doesn't wish to see his teammates as he will become emotional when he sees them. However, Vimal notices the last quote, which mentions that "Encounter. This chapter never gets an end in the life of a police officer" and he smiles at the quote…

"This is just one of the story, which mentions the challenges and hurdles of the police officers. But, there are lots from the life of police officers, where they feel disturbed and affected when going into any investigations since they have to do the same and repetitive investigation throughout their life…

It's like a war, where the one, who are closest to us will be the main target (honesty also being included)…Besides that, some police officers never loses humanity or hope and offers to do more services for the public…Hence, we the public has a peaceful and safety journey…Dedicated to all those sincere police officers…………" This is my final words as the author of this story…………
