A wise man, named Dhruv, was returning after camping in the forest with his friends, found a magical locket lying on a rock, which was shining beautifully, inviting the group of onlookers towards itself. There was a note attached to it. On that note, the following few words were written in a beautiful manner:

See to it, See to it

Be a witty lender, but see to it,

Check my powers first and then vend me

Say "witty watty witts, work for me"

demand any three things, and you will get it.

But, mind your words, Or else they will enslave you.....

For You know, the words are in your control before they are uttered,

And once you let them out, you are under their control.

See to it, See to it

Be a witty lender, but see to it....

Everyone was surprised to see it there, but some of them were eager to try out their luck though the locket. They did not obey what was written and demanded different things. As it was written, actually, warned in that note, their wishes came true, but, in extremely scary ways. Dhruv was there, standing and observing all that was happening. Standing still, he witnessed something mysterious happening there. There were changes in the dark night sky which they could see clearly, winds started blowing wildly, trees were swaying and the river water was exceeding its height limits. Dhruv's friends, who had put forward their wishes, got hem fulfilled and dhruv was still amazed by the fury created by a little, unknown thing. Everyone got really really upset and scared and handed the locket over to Dhruv. He was surprised about it too.

Depressed due to he losses of his friends and afraid by the powers of the locket, he took it to his other friend, named Jai, who was a collector of magical dolls, mysterious instruments and unusual items, such as the locket with Dhruv. Dhruv also told Jai about the note which they had found with that locket. But when Jai looked on to it carefully, he came to the conclusion that it was safe and was not a thing to be afraid of. Jai's wife was listening to all this conversation from the kitchen. She asked Jai to ask Dhruv if they could use the locket. Dhruv and Jai were close friends, so, Dhruv did not refuse to give it to them, but reminded them to be careful while using it and re-reading the note before its use.

Dhruv had a leave from Jai's house when he had given the locket to them......

When Dhruv had left, Jai's wife asked jai to ask for 1 lakh rupees. Jai agreed as they were not from a well to do family. Speaking the magical words, Jai put forward his wish, while his wife sat there with her fingers crossed. Nothing happened for the first few seconds, but there was a knock on the door. It was the soldiers with 1 lakh rupees giving htem the news that their son had died in the war and the king had sent the money as compensation.

Jai's wife busted into tears and asked Jai to wish for giving his son second life. Jai obeyed and wished for his son's second life.

They then a heard another knock on their door. On opening the door, they could hear their son's voice, but could not see him. This was because before they wished for his second life, his body had been cremated and now the spirit did not have a body to take its shape and had now entered the category of ghosts.

Seeing this, Jai's wife asked the locket, with her eyes watering to take his son to heaven and threw the locket as far away as possible.......
