Some say success is in reaching the goal

I beg to differ, it's more important 

To take the correct road

Even if potholed.

Some say save money it will come of use

In your bad days

I say surround yourself with good friends 

You'll never see bad days

Some say childhood is the best place to stay

Agree to some extent

Recall wanting to hurdle to adulthood then

Paradoxical isn't it?

Some workaholics hate to reach retirement 

So tuned to 24/7

I beg to disagree wholly

This is the best life phase

Freedom to stretch your wings full length

Freedom to pursue nascent passions

Freedom from 'time' dictating actions

Freedom to let down your hair, 

Freedom to put up your legs on the chair,

Freedom to catch up with friends lost like yourself with the business of living 

For others in the interim period.
