Sacrifices...

We sacrifice everything we have

To get our children educated,

Put up with the expenses we face,

Giving up on our own wishes

So that we can fulfill theirs,

There's so much to do in this world

But it gets expensive to pay for it,

So much competition to get ahead

Yet only a few will be able to make it,

Why do these institutions keep competing

With each other over the finances

They gain which merely matters?

Why do they have to make the students

Work like machines?

Why is it always the parents to suffer

The consequences in the end?

There are lot of students who give up

Due to the pressure, they can't handle,

There is always a certain amount of depression all over

That affects both the parents and students

Till the who suffer in the end,

Doesn't all the sacrifices we make

For our children count?

Or,

Has it become a norm to say that

It wont be enough to get ahead in this world?

Does it mean we have to put everything on the line

So that our children still have hopes?

Or,

Is it that we have to grind more than we know

Not just to sacrifice for our children

But also to help these institutions to

Get elite tags on their names too?
