Have you played chess?

The game has a simple goal

Protect your king at all costs

However, life is a little different

Ok, it is entirely different

Life is not a one-person show

We cannot sacrifice the pawns

As much as we want to

The queen will not always protect you

She needs to be pampered at times

The bishops might be busy in their own lives

Sometimes, we have the tendency

To treat others as supporting characters

We consider our purposes to be crucial

And do not offer a second thought for others

These moves might be right for chess

But life needs a different approach.
