Home, Sweet Home
Home, Sweet Home
Home, sweet home, here I come
To the comfort of your hearty welcome,
As I feel the ground under my feet,
I am satisfied that this is my own retreat.
I love the way the rays of the Sun
Heat the path to make me run,
To the doorway and remove my keys
To open the way to love and peace.
I love the way the gentle breeze
Caresses my skin and softly tease
And style my hair into a windswept curl
And sweep my gown into a fashion furl.
Home sweet home, I have no grouse
As my kids are happy and so is my spouse.
