It Isn’t A Game!

Everyone wants my position,

I am the one they want to defeat,

The power they seek over me,

To destroy me completely.

The fortress I have built around me,

Portrays me eternally powerful,

Strong, charismatic, enigmatic, 

Life for me would be wonderful.

But the truth is hard to see,

Loneliness is my destiny,

Tied to my seat, no freedom for me,

My soul burns in agony.

A win or loss wouldn’t define me,

What will I be left within the end,

All alone in this world black and white,

My queen too sacrificed, to defend.

Wars and their sufferings,

Since ages remain the same,

Yet many don’t understand,

It’s not worth, whether in life or in-game!
