Waiting For The Rain

My life lies in pain

There is no mercy, no gain.

I have been born in a world of pain

My mother waits for the ease of pain

My father begs to the debtor of grain

Oh lord relieve my pain.

I see my siblings crying with pain,

This is the result of hunger as there is no left grain.

I could see the sky, I could feel the hunger

I could see the fear, I could hear the cry of my dear.

Oh lord relieve my pain.

My hope has been buried under the wings of time

Someday God will have mercy as everything resides in his name.

Surely it will rain

When and where he is not to be blamed.

As we are the sinners of time.

Being punished by the Lord who is is divine.

I am hopeful as I am not full

There is still a light in this dark room of mine.

As the moon is there with its shine.
